The members of the Aspinwall Volunteer Fire Department and Fox Chapel VFD were dispatched at 17:53 to respond with Sharpsburg VFD to a Motor Vehicle Accident in the north-bound lanes of State Highway 28 between the 62nd Street Bridge and the Highland Park Bridge. Initial dispatch reported a one vehicle roll-over on the embankment with the driver ejected from the vehicle. The victim was attended to by medics from Seneca EMS and ALS from St. Margarets Hospital and transported to St. Margarets for evaluation. No extrication was required, however members of the Aspinwall VFD provided vehicle stablization and scene safety precautions while state and local law enforcement examined the scene for their report. The vehicle, a 1987 Ford Ranger Pick-up, was found on the passenger side with the vehicle front facing south in the north-bound lanes.
