Cordelia had numerous dates during her time at high school, such as Daryl Epps, Mitch Fargo, Richard Anderson and Own Thurman to name but a few. However, her passes at Angel were to no avail, as he wanted Buffy and only Buffy. Cordelia's longest relationship was with Xander, on and off, which started when they were locked in a basement together after the Tarakan assassin attack. They had despised each other from childhood, according to willow. The relationship ended when they saw Willow and Xander kissing. Near the end of the third season, she became attracted to the new watcher, wesley, but this never worked out.
In the very first ever BtVS episode Cordelia does try to be friends with Buffy, as she was from l.A, however a stake later meant that they wouldn't be friends till later on. Cordelia once thought that buffy was in a gang, given all the violence surrounding her.
After graduation and a few tax problems for her parents, Cordy moved to L.a to become an actress. She met up with Angel and started working for him in A.I and moved into her own haunted apartment, with ghost Dennis as her roomate. Just before Doyle died, he kissed cordelia, passing his gift of visions to her. Experiencing all the suffering in LA had a marked effect on her previously vapid personality.
Having a vision of a girl in trouble at the library led to the discovery of book which when it was read transported its reader across dimensions into The Host's homeland of Pylea. Cordy was sucked into the portal and sent to Pylea. She was held captive as a cow-slave before being made Princess after she had a vision. She also met and fell in love with Pylea's champion, The Groosalugg, where her devotion to the cause was severely put to the test.
When Cordy returned to LA Cordy ended up in a coma like state, as mortals were not designed with the body to handle powers. While unconsious she was visited by Skip, a worker for the PTB, he gave her the choice of having the life of a star that she always wanted or be able to keep her powers. She chose to become a part demon. When Angel lost Connor to Daniel Holtz, they both grieved. Ignoring each other's developing feeling they worked through the hard times together. When they did arrange a meeting to tell each other neither made the meeting. Cordelia was once again visited by Skip, who this time sent Cordelia to a higher realm to become a heavenly being, while Angel was sent to the bottom of the ocean by his son Connor.
Some boring months later Cordelia returned to Earth, but had no memories of her previous life, the existence of vampires or demons. Connor came to her aid and hermemory was restored with the help of a spell. The spell also awakened something dark inside her and she got Connor into bed and became pregnant. She talked Angel into believing that releasing Angelus would be a good thing, amongst other things. When Cordelia gave birth to the ebony godess she collapsed into a coma.
When Angel and co had settled into Wolfram and Hart Angel found himself close to quitting, Cordelia got a vision of Angel and woke up from her Coma. Cordy was presented with a laundry list of radical changes which included Angel working for "Hell Incorporated," Spike having a soul, Harmony being a receptionist, and his "groin buddy" Eve. After talking to Angel for being seduced by Wolfram & Hart and erasing his friends' memories, she proceeded to inform him about her vision of a man with strange tattoos. They later found out this was Lindsey McDonald. After helping the team thwort Lindsey's plans, Cordelia happy that she had got Angel back on the right track told Angel that she could not stay. She then walked out of the room, ran back to kiss him and then disappeared as they were interrupted by Angel's phone ringing. Angel answered and listened in disbelief. On the other end of the phone was the hospital. Cordy had passed away having never woke up from her coma.
"You know what i've been asking myself a lot this last week? Why me? Why do i get bitten by snakes? Why do i fall for increbible losers? And i think i've finally figured it out. What my problem is. It's Buffy Summers".
