Welcome to my NAFTA webpage

The acronym N.A.F.T.A. stands for North American Free Trade Agreement. Basically, before NAFTA was brought into use, people paid money, called tariffs, to transport goods, that they wanted to sell, into different countries. This was because the countries wanted to promote business within themselves, thus improving their economy, instead of buying products from another country improving their economy. The North American Free Trade Agreement, is an agreement between the governments of the three North American countries. This agreement is that they will be able to trade FREELY any products and services that they want. Thus promoting, continental economic well-being, instead of national well being. Throughout this web-site, you will be able to review some of the points, that are detailed within the NAFTA agreement.
