Why you should exercise with a trainer at home.
- Safety
- Personal attention
- Focus/Concentration
- Trainer's commitment to clients
- Education
- Convenience
I'm a native of Brooklyn, New York with a no-nonsense type of personality that
enables me to push clients in progressing with each workout. I'm not a "rep counter". I hate counting reps -
it drives me nuts. How fun could I possibly be just watching a client exercise while
counting reps for one hour?
No client needs me to count from 1 to 10 - I would imagine that
they have already mastered that skill in elementary school. Clients need me to push them
through the movements to reach their goals in a short period if possible.
For me, training people goes beyond rep counting and exercise demonstrations. I educate
clients about exercising and nutrition habits they can practice on their own. Some typical
trainers collect the fee, count from 1 to 10, ultimately shake your hand, & leave
your home as if it were 5:00pm & they just finished a 12 hour day at the mushroom factory. I'm a
fitness fanatic and when I leave your home after a session, you will have been given great
information about improving your health & fitness. No "cookie-cutter" workouts allowed - this
is personal training.
I train teenagers to seniors - male & female. Whatever goals you have
can be reached if you just stay consistent with healthy nutrition and
fitness habits.
Quality Training
Your training is only worth the effort put in by you and your trainer.
I still can't believe the words that come out of peoples' mouths
about paying a personal trainer too much money for services. Some
people say, "I wouldn't pay more that $50 for a session". Here's my point
in reference to that comment - if your health insurance doesn't
cover personal training but your own diets & fitness methods don't
work to help you stay healthy for your entire life, wouldn't you
invest into your own health?
And if you had a son or a daughter who was severely overweight due
to whatever condition he or she had, wouldn't you want to get help from a
fitness professional immediately?
Those of us who may not have the means to hire a trainer may have
more justification for not receiving services. In that case, I'm
pretty sure that there are other trainers who would train them for a
very minimal amount. I believe that my time and energy is worth more
than a "minimal amount". And sometimes people realize that you get
what you pay for.
Nobody should deny themselves quality fitness training. When it comes
to my health, I only eat the best foods, take the best supplements, &
follow the best training programs to enhance my personal fitness & health.
I expect to continue exercising well into my 90s in the future. The kind
of dedication we all ought to show to our health should be long-term dedication.
