My position as the General Secretary was basically to deal with the administration matters of the Council, take minutes of meetings and help to remind my ever so busy team of executive members of important events and matters to see to.

Besides the above tasks, I also get to plan and organize events.  I was assigned to plan for one activity which was the July'01 Councillors' Orientation.  Though it was on a small scale, planning and organizing an event such as this, was not easy.  Together with my wonderful sidekick, Raba'ah the General Treasurer, we formed an organizing committee and started planning for the event.  It was a little stressful but, in the end, the event was a success and I felt that everything had paid off!  :)

Anyway, I enjoyed being in the Council as the councillors are a group of awesome people and are always full of surprises. :P
