Invertigo
In the 80's Australia was hit by four talented people, who came under the name Pseudo Echo; in the 90's we were hit by another four talented men who were known as Vertigo; and now in the 2000's, we are in the presence of Australia's best band...Invertigo!!!

Formed when the Leigh brothers (as they are most
commonly known) had their previous lead singer leave the band, Invertigo
got together through the typical ad-in-the-paper sort of way. After several
auditions of over 100 people, the Leigh brothers found something to cling
to in Christian, besides his voice. With Vince as the main writing source,
and James writing all the music, the four musicians sat together and completed
their first single, Desensitized. Their popularity rose and rose. Then
to prove to Australia that they were here to stay, Invertigo released the
smash hit single, Chances Are. It reached Australasian number 1, and made
it's way onto the soundtrack for America's Sweethearts. The movie was released
worldwide, as was the soundtrack making Invertigo's song play in stereos
all over the world.
Their debut album Forum was delayed a massive
5 times before it's release on July 16. It was bought by over 50 people
in it's first three days and so it slid up the charts to debut at number
11. Forum contained the two previously released hits as well as the single
Say You Do, which was released a month before.
The guys went on to perform at Rumba and the
APRA's, their fans continued to support them in every way posible. Now,
we sit and wait...patiently, for the next album.
Invertigo have proved themselves to be original
and NOT the next Savage Garden. If you want a word to describe Invertigo,
you wont find one, you'll find many!
