Poem

Saturday, 4 November 2006

The silent sound
The silent sound, whirling round
The covered man
Who hides away, the light of day.
As I search the dark
Quaintly remark
On the coldness of the night

Hold my hand, Come cross the land
Where the covered man
Stole the light, that once was bright
Contrast is sharp
Like drum and harp
In the coldness of the night

And I reach the vale, the winds will wail
As I search for the citadel
Where the thieve hides, the brighter sides
As I clutch my blade
To face the shade
Of the coldness of the night

I reach the tower, I do not cower
Simply hold my breath
Don’t run away, I must save the day
From the covered man
Who day doth ban
To end the coldness of the night

Signed, Owner1:Ater Cordis
