"Man, I am so beat. I hardly slept at all last night. Nick kept tossing and turning all night. "Howie, you ok."
"You think I care that your tired."
"Don't do this man. Look, I said it this morning and I meant it. I'm sorry. What happened last night should have never happened" said AJ.
"Your right, but it did. And you want to know why. Because you have no regard for anybody but yourself. Did you even think for two seconds about my feelings" said Howie.
"I was scared. I needed something, someone."
"You expect the world to revolve around you. Poor AJ needs someone and everyone is supposed to come running. Well, no more. Starting today you are going to learn the world does not revolve around you." said Howie.
"Maybe this talk wasn't such a good idea right now. Maybe I should leave you alone for awhile. I'll just see if I can find Kevin" said AJ.
"Your not going anywhere until we are finished" said Howie slamming the door behind him.
"Obviously your angry" said AJ.
"I'm sick of having to pick up the pieces for you everytime you fall apart. It's time you were taught a lesson. Starting now you will do what I say. I tell you to sit, you sit. I tell you to stand, you stand. I want it, you give it" said Howie.
"You can't be serious."
"Oh, I'm definately serious. If you don't think so just try me and I will tell Nick every sordid detail of last night. And then you will you'll loose your precious Nick forever" said Howie.
"There you are. We've been looking all over for the two of you. We are headed downstairs for some breakfast. You two have a strange look on your face. Is everything ok" said Kevin.
"Everything is fine. We had little disagreement but we came to an understanding and everything's fine now. Right AJ" said Howie smiling.
"Huh? Oh yeah."
"Well come on" said Kevin impatiently.
Everything was fine. He had to wonder what Howie meant by that. Surely he hadn't mean the angry words he had spoken. Could he really expect him to become some personal slave. Watching as Howie slowly sat down in the chair Brian smiled.
"What's wrong, is the dancing getting to be too much for you" he said laughing.
"I think he's sore. AJ fell asleep in his bed last night. He had to sleep on the couch" said Nick smiling.
"Look, can we forget about last night. I want to concentrate on the present. Now someone order me some coffee please while I go to the bathroom" said AJ.
"You know I think taking this vacation was good I think it will really help him" said Brian.
"Are you ready to order" said the waitress approaching.
"I think so. I'll have toast and coffee" said Kevin.
"I'll have the same" said Brian.
"I'll have a bagel with cream cheese" said Nick.
"I'll have orange juice" said Howie.
"Just in time, what do you want?" asked Nick.
"Coffee, just coffee" said AJ.
" You should eat something" said Nick.
"I'm not hungry" said AJ.
"What Howie only wants Orange Juice and now you only want coffee. Are you two on some diet" said Nick.
"So what's on the agenda for today?" asked Brian.
"I want to hit the beach, take my board out" said Kevin.
"I think AJ and I are going to do some shopping" said Nick.
"Definately" replied AJ.
"Shopping. Didn't you tell him we were planning to check out that old ruin" said Howie.
"Ruin, you said yesterday we were hitting the shops" said Nick.
"We are. I think I'll pass on the ruin. Maybe Brian can go with you" said AJ.
"I was going to check out one of the old church's" replied Brian.
"I don't believe it, were in the friggen Cayman Islands and you want to go see a church" said Nick.
"Yeah, hey you want to come with me D" said Brian.
"No thanks" replied Howie.
"Hey, it beats going to the ruins alone."
"Oh, I have a feeling I won't be alone" said Howie.
