"I can't do this. I can't go through with it" said Nick.

"Just take a deep breath, you'll be ok" said Howie.

"Nick, what are you doing home. You guy's weren't supposed to be home until Thursday.

"They re-scheduled the interview" said Nick.

"Aaron is going to be so excited to see you" said Jane.

"He's home" said Nick surprised.

"He got in yesterday. Howie, it's nice to see you. How are you?" asked Jane.

"Fine, thank you" replied Howie.

"Your father's out back in his shop."

"Nick, what are you doing here" said Aaron excitedly.

"I came home to beat up on my little brother" said Nick smiling.

"I'm not little."

"As long as I can whip your ass you are" said Nick throwing Aaron over his shoulder.

"Nickolas Gene Carter put your brother down" said Jane.

"What, he likes hanging upside down, don't you."

"No." said Aaron.

"We're just playing mom."

"Put him down" said Jane sternly.

"Nick, your home."

"Hey, dad" said Nick.

"Howie, it's good to see you. So how did everything go?" asked Bob.

"Fine" replied Nick.

"That's good."

"Are you feeling ok, you look a little pale" said Jane.

"Mom, dad, their's something I need too...I got to use the john I'll be right back" said Nick.

"Nick."

"What, I got to go." Heading up the stairs Nick closed the door and leaned over the sink. He was going to be sick, definitely going to be sick.

"Maybe I should go see if he's alright" said Howie. Heading up the stairs he pressed his ear to the door.

"Nick, open up" said Howie.

"I'm using the john man" said Nick.

"No your not. Come on, open up" said Howie.

"Opening the door Nick sat down on the stool his head buried in his hands.

"I'm here, your going to be ok. You can do this" said Howie.

"What am I going to be is sick."

"Do you remember back when the group started and I told my parents. I was so worried how they would react. And it was for nothing. They totally accepted me being gay" said Howie.

"My parent's aren't like yours. They see me as this vision of who they expect me to be."

"We will do this together, come on" said Howie.

"Everything ok?" asked Jane.

"Fine, I just have a little headache" replied Nick.

"Nick your father and I think we know what you want to talk to us about. It's Mandy isn't it" said Jane.

"Mandy."

"Yes, look we know we were hard on the two of you. We know that's why you broke up."

"We didn't break up because of you" said Nick.

"It's ok, Nick we know we have to accept responsibility for what we did" said Jane.

"We're sorry son" said Bob.

"I broke up with Mandy because I'm gay" said Nick.

"Ha, that's funny" said Aaron.

"My two sons, ever the comedians" said Jane.

"I wasn't joking mom" said Nick.

"What? You can't be seriously telling us you think your gay. Your 21 years old. You've barely begun to experience your sexuality how could even begin to know what you are" said Jane.

"Aaron, you know your straight?" asked Nick.

"Hell, yeah."

"Aaron Carter, watch your language" said Jane.

"You've known forever you were straight. I've known forever that I was gay. I broke up with Mandy because I'm gay and I'm in love with Howie" said Nick.

"Howie, now I think I'm starting to get the picture. Howie's the one trying to convince you of this ridiculous notion that your gay."

"No, mom. Howie and I are living together" said Nick.

"We know that son" said Bob.

"No, you don't we are living together. As in together" said Nick.

"Dear God, please don't tell me you've let this ridiculous notion escalate to sleeping with him" said Jane.

"What happens between me and Howie is our business" said Nick.

"You have. Nick your smarter than this. Don't worry it's going to be ok. We'll fix this. We'll get you into see Dr. Warren. A few sessions with him and."

"Fix, their's nothing to fix. I know what I am. Nothing is going to change that" said Nick.

"How can you know that you want to be with a man. Have you even slept with a woman" said Jane.

"No, and I don't intend too" said Nick.

"Well maybe you should" said Jane.

"Your mother's right" said Bob.

"I don't believe this. Your saying I should sleep with a woman just so I can know what it feels like. I know what it feels like when I hold Howie in my arms. When I'm kissing him, when I'm making love to him" said Nick.

"Aaron, go to your room" said Jane.

"Mom."

"Go, now" said Jane sternly.

"Howie, we respected you, we welcomed you into our home. You are an elder of this group and as such we expected you to look out for Nick. We would never have thought you would do something like this to our son. You are no longer welcome in this house" said Jane.

"Do you mean that mom" said Nick.

"He doesn't set foot in this house again" said Jane.

"Then neither do I" said Nick.
