Would you dance if I asked you to dance?

Would you run and never look back?

Would you cry if you saw me cry? And would you save my soul, tonight?

Would you tremble if I touched your lips?

Would you laugh? Oh please tell me this.

Now would you die for the one you loved? Hold me in your arms, tonight.

I can be your hero, baby. I can kiss away the pain.

I will stand by you forever. You can take my breath away.

It seemed like years but it had only been months since Nick had met the man who would change his life forever. Or should he say destroy his life. It was a typical day, they had been off tour for two weeks and Nick wanted to pick up some groceries before his roommate arrived home. He was hoping to make a romantic dinner and relax in the arms of the man he loved. The man he loved. The words almost sounded strange. He was Nick Carter, heartthrob of America and he was gay. Gay and in love with a wonderful man. He was tall, beautiful and he had smile that could light up any room. Sometimes Nick had to wonder how they were together. He was barely an adult. Still in many ways that same goofy kid he had been when they first laid eyes on each other. He would never forget that day. He was only 13. But as the tall man with the graceful walk entered the room Nick's hard began to pound. He was gorgeous. Introducing himself he stuck out his hand. As Nick placed his sweaty palm in his he could barely manage to utter his name. Eight years ago, it seemed like a lifetime. So much had changed, so much had happened since that day. And it all started with that fateful trip to the grocery store. Pulling a cart from the rack Nick noticed a pair of eyes watching him. Looking up the man smiled at him with a familiar look Nick knew all to well.

"I'm sorry, I don't mean to bother you but could I have your autograph" said the man nervously.

"Sure, what's your name" said Nick.

"Robert" replied the man.

"It's nice to meet you. I don't encounter many male fans" said Nick.

"Yeah, my friends tease me a lot for listening to you. Your starting a new tour next year" said Robert.

"We'll be in the studio in January. Probably start around March or April. I hope you can come" said Nick.

"So do I. Every time I try and get tickets they tell me the ticket brokers have already bought the seats up. And then I finally managed to score tickets through a broker and they were supposed to be mid section and they had me in the bleachers" said Robert.

"I'm sorry you've had such a rough time. I know what it's like to get ripped off. I'm dealing with a State Farm agent now that is trying to do a number on me. They were supposed to be out over a week ago to inspect the house for leaks and they haven't shown up. Tell you what. Here's a card. You call this number and I'll see that they hook you up with some tickets" said Nick.

"Thanks, but you don't have too..."

"It's the least I can do. I really should be getting inside I have a few things to pick up" said Nick.

"God I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hold you up. Thanks for the autograph" said Robert.

"Your welcome." said Nick.

Watching as Nick made his way inside. A smirk crossed Robert's face. This was going to be much easier than he thought. Taking out his cellphone he pulled the card from his pocket and dialed the number.

"KBNHA Records."

"Hi, my name is James Laskey. I'm with State Farm insurance. I was supposed to come to last week and inspect Mr. Carters house. I am at 1393 Wilshire and their appears to be no one home" said Robert.

I'm sorry you must want Mr. Carters home number. This is his record label. Can you hold on a second"

"Sure." Placing the phone down Carrie dialed Nick's number and waited as it rang.

"Hello?"

"Laura. I didn't expect you to be there today. Can I speak with Nick" said Carrie.

"He's not home. He won't be back until this evening."

"Great. You wouldn't happen to know anything about a State Farm agent coming out" said Carrie.

"Nick said one was supposed to come out but they hadn't shown up."

"I have a Mr. Laskey from State Farm on the phone now. He had and old address listed on his records and I just wanted to make sure he was who he stated before I gave out an address" said Carrie.

"Mr. Laskey. Did you say the address you have is on Wilshire?"

"Yes, Ma'am."

"I'm afraid you have Mr. Carter's previous address. His current address is 1902 Davidson."

"1902 Davidson. Thank you so much I'll be heading that way shortly will anyone be home?"

"No, but theirs a housekeeper who should be arriving. She can let you in. Just explain to her that your from State Farm."

"Thank you, you have a nice day."

Yes, the first phase of the plan was going much easier than he anticipated but their was work to be done if he was going to pull this off.
