"You know this was a good idea. I had forgotten how beautiful it is this time of year" said AJ.
"Yeah, do you remember when we first came here" said Kevin.
"How could I forget. We didn't leave the room for two days."
"The group, the club. It all become more important than the people in my life. Not anymore. Starting right now your what's important. I want to spend every waking moment with you. I want get married, have children, grow old with you" said Kevin.
Whoa! Where is all this coming from" said AJ.
"I love you. I don't want to loose you."
"Hey, I'm not going anywhere."
"Life is short, you can never know what will happen" said Kevin.
"You know you're starting to depress me."
"You can do so much better than me."
"What? How could you think that. Ok, that's it. I don't what has got you in this mood of yours but I am about to get you out. How about we pull in here and get some food. We can have a nice romatic dinner over candlelight. Then you can give me that present of yours" said AJ.
"Present."
"The anniversary present, you've been talking about it for weeks."
God, the anniversary present. He had left it at the club. No, this couldn't happen. happen they had to stay together.
"Dinner sounds nice. Can we stop by the club on our way home. I have one little thing I need to take care of" said Kevin.
"Sure."
"So, what would you like for dinner" said AJ.
"Anything is fine."
"How about Linguini and clams."
"That's fine."
"You hate clams" said AJ.
"What?"
"What is with you" said AJ.
"I'm sorry, I guess my mind is just elsewhere" said Kevin.
"I'll say. Come on, said AJ grabbing a basket."
"How about you find some french bread and I'll grab some pasta, a little wine."
"Wine, no. No wine, no alcohol" said Kevin.
"Would you relax. I thought we could make a toast. I could have a little sip. It's not like I can't be around alchol" snapped AJ.
"I know, I just...Please no alcohol, ok" said Kevin.
"Fine. You know, all of you. You can't treat me like a child. I went through rehab. I'm sober and I intend to stay that way" said AJ.
"I know. Now go find that pasta so we can get out of here" said Kevin smiling.
"You can't stop this" said Andrew.
"Go away" said Kevin.
"I wish I could but I'm here till the end."
"Their is not going to be an end. Their's no alcohol. He won't get drunk, he won't die" said Kevin.
"It wasn't the alcohol. It was destiny. It was his time to go" said Andrew.
"Time to go, he's only ---. This won't happen, it won't" said Kevin throwing the loaf of bread in the basket.
Hey, did you find the bread" said AJ approaching.
"Yeah, can you checkout. I need to get out of here" said Kevin.
"Sure."
"Look, I'm just doing my job. You think I enjoy seeing people die" said Andrew.
"Just go away. Find somebody else to take" said Kevin.
"Who were you talking too" said AJ handing him the bag as he slid into the driver's seat.
"Huh? Oh, I guess I was thinking out loud."
"Speaking of thinking. Why don't I drop you off at the club. You can take care of whatever it is you need to take care of. I can go home and get a start on dinner" said AJ.
"No, you can't. We have to stay together" said Kevin.
"It makes more sense to drop you off."
"No" said Kevin angrily.
"Come on, I can have everything ready by the time you get home" said AJ.
"Ok, but you have to promise me you won't leave. You have to stay put until I get home" said Kevin.
"Getting forcefull are we" said AJ smiling.
"Promise me you won't go anywhere" said Kevin.
"Where would I have to go. I'm not going to leave, scouts honor" said AJ.
