Rolling over to an empty bed Justin got to his feet and made his way down the hall.

"Hey, your awake. Would you like some coffee?" asked Chris.

"I have something I need to take care of today. Would you mind taking Aaron out for a few hours" said Justin.

"Whatever you need" said Chris.

"Well don't you look like Mr. doom and gloom. How come your here" said Henry sitting down beside Lance.

"I couldn't watch them. Walking around, talking as if nothing happened" said Lance.

"It hurts dosen't it."

"It's just, it should have been me last night, not Chris" said Lance.

"Look at it this way. You know Chris, you like him. At least he didn't sleep with some stranger" said Henry. Sitting on the bed Justin fought back the tears that threatened to flow. He hoped they would forgive him for what he was going to do, hoped they would understand. The argument, Lance's death, allowing himself to sleep with Chris. It was all too much. They would be better off without him. Aaron would have aunts, uncles, grandparents to help raise him. In time they would be able to move on without him. Sitting on the stool Justin opened the drawer pulling out a small box.

"What is he doing" said Lance as he watched Justin pull a razor blade from the box.

"What does it look like he's doing" said Henry.

"Please, tell me he's not going too..."

"He is. You see he thinks they would all be better off without him. He blames himself for your death and he feels guilty for sleeping with Chris. He thinks he betrayed you" said Henry.

"You have to stop him" said Lance.

"No can do."

"But you can't let him do this" said Lance.

"The only who can stop him is you" said Henry.

"How can I stop him. He can't even hear me, see me" said Lance.

"Yes he can."

"What? Your saying I..."

"Yes."

"Wait, where are you going? I don't know how to help him" said Lance.

"Two words, let go" said Henry.

"Justin stop, it wasn't your fault" said Lance.

"Great, now I'm hearing things" said Justin.

"No your not" said Lance as Justin turned in the direction of the voice

"Lance" said Justin his eyes growing wide.

"Hi."

"I can see you. I..." said Justin.

It's ok, it's just me."

But how?"

"It's not important. What's important is that I stop you from making a mistake. I know you miss me but you have to understand. I'm gone, I'm not coming back" said Lance.

"But how am I supposed to go on without you. How am I supposed to raise Aaron. I don't have a clue what I'm doing" said Justin.

"No parent does. You just have to remember that the most important thing is love" said Lance.

"I miss you so much."

"I know, but you have to let go. You deserve to be happy. Chris is a great guy" said Lance.

"You know about Chris."

"Killing yourself is not the answer. The answer is letting go. Goodbye Justin."

"Wait, where are you going. You can't leave."

"I have too. Oh, but one last thing. No letting Aaron date until he's fifteen" said Lance.

"Please, don't go"

"If you loose your way. Think back on yesterday. Remember me this way. And know that I'll be there. Forever more a part of you. I'll always care. I'll be behind your shoulder watching you. I'll be standing by your side in all you do. And I won't ever leave as long as you believe."
