TheW3rd (TW) was formed way back in June 2000 by Fox and Syn. It consisted of a group of friends who met in an IRC community.
Today, some of the original players have been locked in a cupboard so as not to expose them to a world of hatred, war and death...bless their poor meek minds.
However, we still have good old Fox: clan-leader, computer-aholic and part time crack addict; and Andy ("=Andy= cs sucks now"); and umm sometimes Stinger...yeh anyway *bah*. See the members section for more information.
I think it should be said that even though we've been around for 4 years, we ain't no pro's! In fact we suck. But we have fun :D We only recruit people we know, we don't just go looking for highly skilled players who will help us win a league. So if you were thinking of asking to join us, you'll have to learn to love us first :P
We play a variety of games, not just CS. For example: Battlefield 1942, Desert Combat, Natural-Selection, C&C Generals, Everquest and many more.
When steam was introduced, last September, we stopped playing for a bit. A bit turned out to be a while, and a while turned out to be about 6 months. But we're still here, about to restart the EnemyDown league (Div 3).
