Genealogy... it's an addictive hobby, driving addicts into a ceaseless search for their ancestors.  Hi, my name is Chani and I am an addict.  The warning signs came when I got excited looking through 200-year old parish registers.  The definitive sign of my addiction came when in my free time I'd start looking through graveyards trying to find that elusive tombstone...  I know there are researchers out there who know exactly what I'm talking about!!

This webpage is dedicated to publishing all the information I have collated over the years in the course of researching my family, from family trees to family stories.  For a quick reference on what families are covered in my family tree, please use the 'Chani's Families' link.  From there, links are provided for full genealogical data and photos (where I have them).  

I've also begun a surnames list for Queensland, called the Queensland Surname Forum.  It's my contribution back to the online genealogical community and appears to have been well received - although it was only recently started, the number of entries that have been posted has been amazing.  Hopefully, this will help research in the Queensland area.
