This is Father Abel Nightroad from Trinity Blood. A wandering priest who belongs to the Vatican. For some reason, he's always poor and hungry. Despite that, his carefree and clumsy manner causes all sorts of calamities, and there are a lot of people around him who are taken abck by that. But Abel Nightroad's true identity is that of an expeditionary marshal, on of very few in the Vatican. He is a capable agent of the Ministry of Holy Affairs, codenamed, "Crusnik". When he approves the limited activation of the nanomachines "Crusnik 02", they turn him into Crusnik, with more fighting power than a Vampire. But what exactly is a Crusnik? Why does Abel possess such power? His being both human and yet a vampire is one of the great mysteries in Trinity Blood.
