Psi vampires are vampires who feed on psychic (or pranic) energy. These vampires do not generally need to drink blood. They are often confused with psychic vampires, the main difference is that a psychic vampire has some measure of psychic ability.
Pranic energy (also known as “life force”) is carried through the blood as well, therefore, it is not unusual for a psi vampire to drink blood. However, not all psi vampires can receive the pranic energy from blood.
Psi vampirism is just as “real” as sanguine vampirism, however it is not as well known. The main cause of this is due to the fact that psi vampirism is not obvious to the naked eye. This means that they are less likely to have problems with “hunters” and other unsympathetic people.
Psi vampires also don’t leave a physical mark, however, donating to a psi vampire is still quite draining and it is suggested that you only donate either when you are energetic yourself, or when afterwards, you can rest for a while, if need be.
