Eallerica Chronicles

Part 3: A Gathering

Joe looked up to see Methos walk in with Eallerica. Making his way down the bar he stopped and asked one of the waitresses to take over for a few minutes.

"Well, Adam. Nice to see you. Kathrine! What a suprise." His gruff voice found their ears.

"Joe, he knows about me and I know about him,"she said looking around. "Nice place."

"Thank you, can I get you someething?" he eyed both of them.

"Heinikin." Methos said simply.

"Killians," Kathrine said with a grin.

"So dare I ask what the two Watchers have been doing?" Joe asked, handing Methos his beer.

"Reminiscing about old times." Methos put in, his hands wrapped loosely around the bottle.

"Basically, bullshitting over dinner." Eallerica said with a grin.

"Anything you two might have talked about that might intrest me?" He raised a brow.

"Nope," Methos said watching as Joe handed the pint of red ale to Eallerica.

"By the way, we're going to MacLeod's after this. Want to go with us?" Eall asked after taking a sip of Irish ale.

"Are you kidding?" Joe's brow raised. "I've got work to do, and then I have more work to do," he said with a smile "Thanks for the offer, but I might be by later."

"See? It's just us and MacLeod." Methos grinned.

Duncan had just settled down on the couch with a book and a glass of Scotch. Richie was looking through a magizine when the buzz came. Both Immortals sensed a strong presance. Duncan and Richie exchanged looks. The knock on the door told them that it was probably someone they knew. Richie stood and went to the door, getting a stronger buzz from Methos than he normally did. Almost doubled over, he looked at Mac who ignored him.

"All right, all right I'm coming," he said, climbing the steps "Adam and Kathrine. Mac, look who's here," Richie said leading the way.

"What a shock," Duncan muttered under his breath. "Adam and Kathrine. So nice of you to come."

"Oh don't looked too shocked MacLeod." Methos said with a grin.

"Hey, there," Kathrine said, holding out the bottle of wine.

"What's that for?" Richie asked.

"It's to replace at least a portion of what the Old Man downs." she grinned.

"You let her call you 'old man'?" Richie said with some outrage. "Have you taken a head in the past few days?"

"Why?" Methos asked.

"I picekd up on your buzz it was stronger than normal." Richie said with his hands on his hips.

"Duncan, you didn't tell our young friend I'm among the ranks of the older Immortals did you?" Kathrine said, grinning and throwing an arm around Richie's shoulders.

"What?" Richie asked finally picking up on the really strong buzz comming from Kathrine. "It's you?" he asked her.

Methos spoke before she could answer, "Richie, I'd like yout to meet Eallerica, one of the other older Immortals," Methos said with a grin.

"See, I have permission to call him 'old man', and besides, you haven't mastered that respect for elder thing yet." She grinned, winking at him. "IF it will make you feel better, you can call me 'old chick'."

"Nope." he grinned. "I'd rather have a kiss," a blush lighting his cheeks.

"Requset granted," she countered, planting one on his cheek.

"Your aim's off." Richie smiled.

"It's right on target," She said, moving to Duncan, "And how is my second favorite Highlander?"

"I'm fine," He said, embracing her, then he took a seat. "Connor said that you should look him up when your in New York."

Methos wearing a superior smile, ploped down on the other side of Eallerica. Richie, who was not too hapy about it, sat in the chair. The four of them talked until Joe's arrival, which was greeted with a round of hellos and an embrace from Eallerica. Methos was begining to wonder when the conversation was going to get around to how they knew one anothre. He wasn't too disappointed when Duncan was the one to ask.

"Okay, this has bugged me since day one. When you two claimed to know each other; dare I ask how?" He shot a lok at Methos in particular.

"Should I tell them, dearest?" Eall inquired sweetly, batting her blue-violet eyes at Methos.

"Why not,it'll come out eventually," he sighed.

"Don't look at it like that," She said, batting her eyes at him yet again. "I take it you all know about his days with the Horsemen?" She glanced at Methos, who had been hoping she wouldn't mention the fact. "Started way back when he was better know as Death, and I was in a murderous rage of my own."
