this is a page dedicated to the music I like. self explanatory really.
deftones deftones were the first band I ever went to. They made a big impression on me, perhaps as I was bruised and couldn't hear for a week (no kidding!. I saw them last month, and I got to touch the lovely chino. Or rather, molest the lovely Chino. Only jesting!
I once read deftones' music described as "emo-rock", and cheesy though it sounds that is a good description. Their latest full album, White pony, was described as the OK Computer of metal. OK Computer? That was a fine album by...
Radiohead of course! Radiohead are perhaps one of the best bands of our day. Releases such as OK Computer, and Kid A show how immortal they are. They can release anything and we'll buy. Sad but true.
I saw Radiohead as well, Glasgow Green last year. It was perhaps the best gig I shall experience, it was almost perfect. They had three encores, it was fun but dehydrating. Whether my latest deftones gig or radiohead gig is my favourite is undecided...I did get to touch chino and two members of taproot and wave to a lot of linkin park and get mike shynoda's autograph...oh decisions decisions.

Muse of course!
I first heard muse when I was in the bathroom flicking radio stations. An exerpt of sunburn was playing on this advert, and I listened to that station for ages after. That was December 1999. I bought showbiz in february 2000 and I love it. Yes I think Matt is nice looking, but I do like the music, why else would I listen? Surely if I only liked muse as they were alright looking I'd just buy magazines!
I tab a lot of muse stuff for bass as I can't play guitar well and am learning bass. I do have some guitar tabs, but they are a heck of a lot easier to find than bass tabs!
