Episode 7: "Awoken C-Genoma"

This episode is an account of the first action taken by Kagami’s new C-Project; a project whose aim is to extract Tennyo genes and create a superior human race.

Their first target is Urakawa Yuki, a shy girl who has Tennyo blood in her, but has shown no signs of Tennyo powers thus far. Kagami hires her physics teacher, Hayama, to get close to her and slip her drugs made out of Ceres’s blood, to extract the Tennyo-personality in her.

But Kagami’s plan is not successful. When Urakawa is under the misapprehension that Aya betrayed her and told the entire school about her relationship with Hayama, she responds by setting the school on fire (this is her Tennyo power), resulting in the deaths of several students.

Tooya comes to Aya’s rescue, finally acknowledging his feelings for her. But Urakawa appears before Aya, and shoots fire at her. Yuuhi takes the hit for her and falls into the pool. Aya, filled with anger and sorrow, falls asleep and Ceres takes over.

After rescuing Yuuhi, Ceres admonishes Urakawa for overexerting herself and that she will die if she keeps attacking, but Urakawa continues to attack Ceres until her body starts to weaken from the shock. Hayama shows up behind her and yells harshly at her for not living up to his expectations.

"Stop wasting your time and just KILL her! Why did I even put up with you all that time!!"

Those words echo emptily in Urakawa’s mind… Didn’t Hayama love her? Urakawa, refusing to accept otherwise, sets both herself and her lover on fire.

"I won’t let anyone disturb us," She promises Hayams’a burned corpse. "Let’s be together forever…"

Back at Mikage International, Kagami locks Tooya in a cell as punishment for his deviant feelings for Aya.
