Episode 4: "Stolen Hagoromo"

"Ce...Ceres...?" Yuuhi asks in disbelief. "Are you not Aya?"

Ceres explains, "I am not a different being. ‘Aya’ is me, and has been from the start. Only Aya’s presence was stronger up until now."

Ceres then explains that she is reborn over and over again for two purposes: to retrieve her stolen hagoromo, and to annihilate the Mikage family.

Ceres tries to kill Aya’s mother, but Yuuhi holds her back.

"Unhand me!" Ceres protests. "I shall have the blood of the man who stole my hagoromo and shamed me!!..." But Ceres’s speech is silenced with a kiss from Yuuhi.

The kiss triggers memories Aya had of Tooya’s kiss, and this brings Aya’s personality back to the surface. When Aya reorients herself, she slaps Yuuhi for kissing her and rushes over to her injured mother in distress.

The shock had been too much for Aya’s mother and she is now in a coma. Suzumi arranges for her to stay at a hospital until she wakes up.

At the Mikage house, Aki overhears his grandfather plotting with Kagami to kill Aya. Aghast at such a suggestion, Aki struggles out of the house to look for his sister.

Back at the Aogiri house, Yuuhi is moved into the room next to Aya so he can protect her. Between the walls, Yuuhi and Aya talk. Yuuhi says his mother died when he was in 5th grade, and his older brother died just after marrying Suzumi. Yuuhi never got along well with his father, so Suzumi let him live with her. Aya tells him he’s lucky to have a family.

Aki limps down the street at night, when he is threatened by some street-toughs, but Tooya comes to his rescue…
