Episode 15: "Tooya's Past"

Aya, Yuuhi, & Kyuu set off to search for the hagoromo. They are enjoying the scenery of the legendary home of the hagoromo when Yuuhi spots a girl who he believes is trying to commit suicide. As he approaches the girl to save her, he’s stunned by the resemblance she has to Aya.

Later when Aya goes to meet Tooya, this new girl, Sahara Miori, comes across the two of them. Tooya seems to recognize her and crosses the street to go to her, but is struck by a car. The accident causes him to lose his memory and he is whisked away by Miori.

Later Aya and Yuuhi visit Tooya recovering at his family home, the Mizuki residence, and learn that Miori is Tooya’s childhood friend and lover from before his first hit of amnesia. Miori instructs Aya to leave Tooya alone now that Tooya has returned to his true self. Aya painfully decides to do so. Yuuhi goes back to the Mizuki house and tells Tooya that he will take Aya now.

Aya cuts her hair short in mourning for the love she has given up, believing it to be the right course of action. She has come down with a fever and Yuuhi is nursing her back to health. She asks Yuuhi to help her forget Tooya, but he won’t have Aya this way and tells her that when she can forget about Tooya he will be there for her. Aya, in shock and remorse for her unthinking actions, wills herself away and Ceres takes control.

The Mikage henchmen take Tooya and Miori back to Mikage International. When Ceres discovers this, she races to confront Tooya to ascertain if he truly is her enemy now. Yuuhi and Kyuu follow by car. Kagami instructs Tooya to confront Ceres.

Tooya holds Ceres at knife point, but can’t bring himself to kill her. Miori appears near them. A purple aura surrounds her and she transforms into a Tennyo, declaring she wants her revenge against Aya.
