Episode 14: "Awoken Ancestor"

That night, Tooya, though still injured, sneaks out of Suzumi’s house to fight the Mikage. When Aya finds him gone, she runs out frantically to look for him. Chidori and Yuuhi look, too.

Meanwhile, "Aki" and Kagami are riding in a car. "Aki" mumbles to himself "My wife…Ceres…where are you…My wife…" over and over again. He suddenly picks up his wife’s "scent" and commands Kagami to take him towards the scent. It is then that Kagami realizes that he is not sitting in the car with "Aki", but Aki’s ancestor (Shiso).

Aya finds Tooya in a deserted park. She throws her arms around him and begs him to stop being so reckless. Tooya gives her his "promise mark" to seal his feelings. Their tender scene is interrupted, however, when "Aki" (Shiso) arrives.

Aya runs happily into "Aki’s" arms. Tooya notices the scars on "Aki" and tells Aya to run, but it’s too late. "Aki" grabs Aya and kisses her passionately. Yuuhi arrives just in time to see this shocking scene.

"Aki….you’re not Aki!!!" Aya cries and shoves him off.

After commanding Tooya to stay away from his wife, Shiso blasts Aya’s direction with electric energy. Yuuhi takes the blast and his magical headband breaks.

"What are you doing, Aki??" Aya implores

"Aki… you must mean the name of this body. He is no longer. He has run away from everything and fallen asleep deep within his soul."

"YOU’RE LYING!!!" Aya screams in rage and turns into Ceres.

Ceres demands that Shiso return her hagoromo, but Shiso responds with, "I won’t give it back to you. You will be my wife until the end of time".

Furious, Ceres attacks Shiso, who promptly faints from the excitement. Wei rescues Shiso and promises Tooya he will return some day to kill him for stealing his eye.
