Author's notes: I decided to repost this story as I had written it back in 2009 a long time ago and wanted to repost this story since many people on my personal Deviantart page asked me to repost it. This story takes place after the Sailor Stars season. Many things have changed from the original version and I have added more details and characters.

Disclaimer: I don't own Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon, It is owned by Naoko Takeuchi/Kodanshada LTD/ TV Ashai/ Toei Animation. I do own the Otaku senshi that appears in the story.

Prologue

Rubble, the left over glass, and the ruminants of a previous battle was fought were evident upon the site where Ginga TV had once resided. There were many places where remains of the sailor senshi who gave their lives to protect the planet were lying scattered upon the ground. A lone senshi stood in the center of it all; she let out a choke sob placing a hand to her mouth to muffle the sound. She had lost her friends at the cost of defeating Chaos whose plan she stopped before it came to fruition.

"Everyone…" She whispered softly her grief over took her and she collapsed to the ground. Her tears flowed freely and landed on the dirt covered ground around her. She had lost everyone, their futures had changed, and Crystal Tokyo would not ever come to be realized.

"Sailor Moon…"

Walking carefully towards her Sailor Star fighter placed a hand on her shoulder to comfort her, but to her surprise her hand was bucked off her shoulders. "Rena,"

"Don't touch me…" Looking up at the sky where the sun was starting to peek from behind the once dark clouds, she prayed her friends were happy where they were even though they had left her. She held back another sob and walked over to the place where her dearest friend Sailor Mars had perished. She picked up the remains of the girl's senshi uniform….the purple bow.

"We must go Sailor Moon," Princess Kakyuu said gently. "We don't want to be found by any of the civilians who might start to ask questions."

Sailor Moon didn't say a word and continued staring at the bow in her hands, she let out a soft sob and whispered. "Mars…why did you have to protect me…?"

The silence was overlooked as the sound of coughing was heard from a pile of rubble was sitting. A voice, which was weak but strong enough to call out an attack, was heard followed by a streak of blue light which penetrated the rubble enough for the person to reach a hand out.

"It's another animate!" Sailor StarMaker shouted preparing her attack. "Star Gentle…"

"Wait!" shouted out Sailor Moon, she saw the gloved hand that had stitches of white fabric covering dark skin, and she rushed over taking the hand of the person and began pulling.

"Sailor Moon what the hell are you doing!" Sailor Starfighter demanded. "You're going to get yourself killed if it's another animate!"

"It's not," Sailor Moon pulled the girl's hand trying to free her from her prison. She looked at the Starlights and said. "Please help me."

Weighing the pros and cons of the situation, the Starlights began moving the large rocks and rubble to free the person more. When they managed to get it cleared away, they gasped in surprise at who was under it.

"Keisha!" Sailor Moon pulled the girl out from under the rubble; she could visibly tell from the scars and bruises on the girl's face and body along with the dried blood on her forehead that she was truly alive. "I'm so glad you're alive!"

"Sailor Moon, while I am grateful to see you…could you  let me breathe please?" Sailor Sun winced in pain. "That damn Galaxia is going to pay when I see her…trapping me under that damn rubble."

"But we saw your Starseed get taken," Sailor Moon said softly. "How did you survive?"

"I really don't remember," Sailor Sun, admitted, she placed a hand to her head feeling the start of a splitting headache. "I was attacking her with Sailor Pluto, and Sailor Saturn, I saw bright light and the next  thing I know I am trapped under rubble, that's all I remember from the battle."

Not that she didn't care that her friend was in pain. Sailor Moon didn't say a word and hugged her tightly. She ignored the protests from the smaller girl and the attempts to escape. If Keisha survived then that only meant that the others had survived as well. She prayed that she would find the others.

"I don't think…any of the others survived." Sailor Sun whispered softly, she tried fixing what was left of her tattered uniform, but to no avail she gave up, she looked up making eye contact with Sailor Moon and then quickly said. "But…it can't help to look."

The sound of coughing from another pile of rubble interrupted the silence again, and the senshi looked over quickly.

"It might be one of the girls!" Sailor Moon took off towards the rubble and began digging to get the person free from the debris. "Wait!" Sailor Sun weakly stood up pulling out the Crystal Aria pitch in case she had to attack. "Alright, let's see who or what it is." She looked behind her and ordered. "Starlights, be on your guard to get her out of here if something goes down."

Sailor Moon continued digging; She prayed it was at least one of her other friends.  Suddenly she felt a gloved hand grab hers and began to pull the person's hand to free them. "Everyone help me!"

Running over the Starlights began moving more of the rocks and rubble away to make it easier to help the person out of the mess. However, Starfighter grabbed the person's hand helping Sailor Moon pull them free from the confines of the rubble.

She gasped out and let the person's hand go. "It's…It's…"

"Darien…"

Sailor Moon's blue eyes filled with tears, she threw herself into his arms and began to cry softly in happiness. "Darien! I thought I'd never see you again! I am so glad you are alive!"

Darien held Sailor Moon in his arms while kissing the top of her head softly in attempt to calm her down. "I am sorry for making you worry meatball head…" he said softly. "Please don't cry anymore."

Sailor Moon continued to cry in sadness hoping that her friends would be found and they could be together again.

**************************

"It's not fair!"

Slamming her fists on the table in anger Serena glared at her guardian as she heard the fate of the other senshi was all part of the timeline was altered due to the chain of events that happened thanks to Galaxia. She wanted nothing more than to just scream "To hell with destiny" and to revive the other senshi using her crystal. She did not care if it endangered her life or not. All she wanted were her friends to be with her once again.

"The other senshi's deaths are all part of the start of a new future being created for the sake of the future of Earth and the universe." Luna explained. "Had their deaths been prevented everything would've went on as planned, but the fabric of time has been changed."

"So in other words Luna, our futures have changed for the better?" Keisha asked. "If there is a way to fix everything to the way it was before our new futures could very well become what we witnessed in the future?"

"Something like that," Luna said. "Before the outers went to help the other senshi I spoke with Sailor Pluto who said that the chain of events would cause nine of the ten senshi of the solar system to perish in battle as they protected Sailor Moon, that's why you're still alive Keisha. she made it so you would be here to help Serena protect the planet in case another enemy becomes known."

"Wait hold up, Sailor Pluto is the one who protected me?" Keisha questioned she placed a hand on her head trying to remember. During the battle, she had been attacked by Galaxia's attack from her bracelets but a maroon light had protected her. "She did it to preserve the timeline…" Going silent, she looked down at her feet in sadness mixed with guilt. She suddenly cursed the Starlights for leaving to go back to their home planet. She knew that they would be of help if anything arose.

"Wait you mean that this was supposed to happen?" Serena cried. "How come you didn't tell us? We could've prevented this!"

"It wasn't my place to interfere with the timeline," Luna stated. "Don't worry Serena you will see your friends once again that is if you accept this."

"What do you mean?" Keisha questioned curiously immediately snapping out of her thoughts to listen more intently. She was not sure what the black cat had planned but she knew it would only make it easier for them to deal with whatever was coming their way in the near future.

"It is Serena's destiny to help with the rebirth of the other Sailor Senshi." Luna explained. "If you don't accept this then the other Senshi's star seeds shine will fade."

Serena went quiet for a moment and began thinking it over. She could hear the sounds of her friends' laughter resonate through her mind. She wanted to hear them once again, to live happily as though nothing had happened to take them away from her. She needed to accept this place in destiny. At least it would help with her securing a future that would at least be something she had known before. "Alright I will do it."

Luna smiled. "They will be reborn in 4 years." She said. "Be prepared, this task will not be easy."

"No one ever said that being A Sailor Senshi would be easy."
