Act V
Part 1
The ground laying Sailor V Manga

Pendrell wasn’t in the projector/research room where she normally was.
She was in another room. On the door was a sign which said ‘Review Research’. Pendrell was sitting at a table with a few other people. It was
a long table with a dozen people sitting at it, reading papers and taking notes. There were papers scattered around all over the table. “So have
you and the others chosen more creatures that we will send down?” asked Pendrell. The woman she was talking to had short blonde hair but she
was in the darkness and you couldn’t see what kind of clothes she was wearing. You couldn’t see the other people who were sitting at the table very well either. “Yes, Steve has put them in pod shuttles and they are ready to go,” said the woman. “Good job Alice. I’ll let Sailor Sun know of
our progress,” said Pendrell; leaving the room. Pendrell ordered Steve to launch the pod shuttles to Earth once she was in her office. Four pod shuttles were launched and heading towards Earth. The next day, the pod shuttles landed on Earth in various remote places.

Kousagi was walking home from cram school. As she was walking home,
she passed up a bookstore which sold many different kinds of books. She had remembered hearing her mom talk about the place and about all of
the good manga they had there to read. She entered the building and
went to go check out the manga section. She saw the Sailor V manga her mom always used to tell her about. She picked up the book and started flipping through the pages and reading a little of it. She soon became engrossed in the book and was there for a while. A couple of hours had passed and the store was about to close. The owner of the store tapped
his finger lightly on her back. Kousagi turned around. “This store is
closing now, if you want to buy anything, get it now so I can close up,”
said the owner. “Okay, I’ll take these,” said Kousagi as she bought the fifteen volumes of the Sailor V manga. Kousagi exited the store.
Chibi-Usa had been looking for Kousagi since she was so late coming
home from cram school. Chibi-Usa spotted her walking out of the book
store and ran to her. “What the hell have you been doing? Mom has been worried sick about you,” said Chibi-Usa. “Oh, I just stopped by the book store and started reading some really good manga,” said Kousagi. “What manga is that?” asked Chibi-Usa. “It’s the Sailor V manga mom always
used to talk about,” said Kousagi. “Oh, I haven’t read that one yet. Anyways, how was cram school?” asked Chibi-Usa. “It was okay, but it’s
not really my thing,” said Kousagi. “Spoken like a true daughter of
Tsukino Usagi. Are you still gonna go?” asked Chibiusa. “I don’t know. I haven’t decided yet,” said Kousagi. “Well, you don’t wanna end up like
mom and get 30s on almost all of your tests,” said Chibiusa.

They both arrived at their home. “Where were you young lady, your father and I were very worried,” said Usagi. “I stopped by at a bookstore and started reading the Sailor V manga I heard you talk about a lot,” said Kousagi. “Oh yes, you could’ve borrowed my copies. I remember reading those,” said Usagi. “Mom, are all those stories about Sailor V in the Sailor V manga true?” asked Kousagi. “Well, I’m not sure how much of it was fictionalized since I wasn’t there, but yes, it is true. Maybe you can ask
Sailor Venus yourself about it,” said Usagi. “Yeah, that’s a good idea. I’ll
go ask her tomorrow,” said Kousagi. They all went to bed for the night.

Part 2
The Mysterious Boss

Later the next day, Kousagi was at school and it was recess time. She usually played with the kids of Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Mars, Sailor Venus, & Sailor Mercury. All of them had at least one girl. The eldest girls of each
of their families were named after their mothers. So there was an Ami,
Mina, Rei, & Mako. Kousagi was much like her mother in that she wasn’t
very athletic and was a bit clumsy. The other daughters of the Sailor
Senshi usually ditched her because she was slow and annoying at times.

Ami walked over to her. “Thanks for going to cram school with me. Now I don’t feel so alone there anymore. What are you reading?” asked Ami.
“I’m reading the Sailor V manga. I’m on volume ten now. I should be
finished by the end of the day,” said Kousagi. Ami glanced over the
manga. “Can I start reading them when you’re done? It looks good,”
asked Ami. “Sure,” says Kousagi. They both spent the rest of recess
together talking about the manga and Kousagi was reading it as well.

Later that day, Kousagi was asking Minako questions about the Sailor V manga. “Oh yes, it’s all true. Wow, that was such a long time ago,” said Minako; looking at the Sailor V manga. “I don’t know what this is doing in the manga section, it should be in the history section,” continued Minako after a brief pause. “I only have one question which none of the volumes
of the Sailor V manga answered,” said Kousagi. “Oh, what’s that?” asked Minako. “Who was ‘the boss’ you were always getting orders from?” asked Kousagi. Minako thought about if for a minute and said “You know, I
never did find out. I started looking for the other Sailor Senshi and never found out.”

Later that night, Kousagi was in her room reading through the Sailor V manga again; trying to find out if there were any clues as to who ‘the
boss’ was. She had no luck and realized it was getting pretty late. She wanted to go there and buy some more manga. Perhaps Sailor Moon
Manga. She arrived at the book store and started looking through the
Sailor V Manga that she bought.

As she started reading the book, there were some subliminal words which appeared behind the real text of the book. It was barely noticeable, but
the subconscious picked it up. She started getting dizzy and went into a
sort of hypnotic state. Anyone who had bought a book in the last three
days from a number of bookstores had books which had brainwashing messages in them. Various people around town were experiencing the
same thing as Kousagi.

Other people in the bookstore were being brainwashed as well and it was
a little past closing hours. Chibi-Usa began looking for her little sister. ‘Damn it Kousagi. Are you at the bookstore again?’ thought Chibi-Usa to herself. Chibi-Usa entered the bookstore and saw that everyone was in a state of unconsciousness. She found Kousagi and ran over to her.
“Kousagi! What’s wrong with you? Wake up.” Chibi-Usa tried waking her,
but to no avail. Chibi-Usa looked at the book Kousagi was staring at and started to become hypnotized herself. They were both now in a hypnotic state.

Part 3
‘The Boss’ Revealed

‘Wake up Sailor Senshi.’ said a voice; trying to wake up Kousagi and Chibi-Usa. They were still in a dazed state and being brainwashed. Two new weapons for the two Sailor Senshi appeared in the air and fell on their heads. They had regained consciousness and were rubbing their heads because of the slight pain. ‘Pick up your new weapons.’ said a voice.
“Who’s there?” They both looked around to see who it was. They saw the two weapons on the ground. Kousagi’s weapon was a pink and white pen which had a heart on top of it. The heart had bunny ears on top of it.
Chibi-Usa’s weapon was a pink and gold pen which had a star on top of it and had wings on the sides of it.

They both picked up their weapons. “Who are you?” asked Kousagi. “I was known as ‘the boss’ in those Sailor V manga books you’ve been reading,” said the voice. “What? How did you know about that? Show yourself,”
said Kousagi. A sailor senshi appeared before them. She had gray hair
and was fairly tall. “Who are you?” “I was known as ‘the boss’ to Sailor V long ago. I am one of the oldest Sailor Senshi. I am here to help you
Sailor Senshi one last time before I pass away and join the other Sailor Senshi who have passed before me.” “Why haven’t you been around for a long time? This is the first time I’ve heard of you,” said Kousagi. “I am mainly responsible for the Sailor Senshi in my own galaxy,” said Sailor Andromeda. “Your own galaxy?” said Chibi-Usa and Kousagi in unison.
“Yes, it is 2.2 million light-years from your planet, Earth.” Kousagi and
Chibi-Usa saw a bunch of people being mesmerized by the books. “What
is going on here?” asked Kousagi. “The new enemy is trying to brainwash
the general population,” said Sailor Andromeda. “Why? What for?” asked Chibi-Usa. “That is not entirely clear yet. The important thing is, you must defeat them. My time is running out. My time to join the other departed Sailor Senshi has come. Good luck Sailor Senshi of the future,” said Sailor Andromeda as she disappeared.

Kousagi and Chibi-Usa were still trying to absorb it all. They saw that the Sailor V manga book as well as the other books were emitting a strange subliminal brainwash pattern. The Sailor V manga book started flipping its own pages. A blue smoke came out of the book and Sailor V appeared.
Chibi-Usa and Kousagi transformed. “You have a new transformation as well?” said Kousagi. “Yes, I was given a new brooch by the sprite as
well,” said Chibi-Usa. “You Sailor Senshi will not interfere with our plan,” said Sailor V.

“Crescent Boomerang,” said Sailor V. Kousagi and Chibi-Usa ran and
ducked. The crescent boomerang missed them, but cut some of the
shelves in half. “Love crescent shower, Pour Down Rain,” sailor V used another attack. Kousagi grabbed Chibi-Usa by the arm and ran underneath
a nearby table. The rain smelled good, but it was eating away at anything
it touched. “How did you know to do that?” asked Chibi-Usa. “I remember what that attack did in the manga,” said Kousagi.

Sailor V threw another crescent boomerang at them. The legs of the table they were underneath were cut and the table fell on top of them. Sailor V jumped towards the senshi underneath the table with a jump kick attack. Kousagi and Chibi-Usa used their strength and pushed the top of the
table off of themselves. The table top flew towards Sailor V and knocked
her out of her attack.

Sailor V fell down and dropped her crescent moon compact. Kousagi ran
over to go pick it up. Sailor V kicked her away. Sailor V picked up the compact. “Crescent Super Beam.” The attack was heading for Chibi-Usa. Kousagi used the new weapon she had gotten earlier. A zig-zag of hearts and bunny heads came out of her weapon. Her attack clashed with the crescent super beam of Sailor V. While she was fighting Kousagi,
Chibi-Usa grabbed the crescent compact out of Sailor V’s hand. Sailor V
used her Venus Iron Muscle Punch attack. Chibi-Usa threw the compact to Kousagi. Chibi-Usa flew back and was hurt pretty badly by the attack.

Kousagi held the compact and said “Show me the true form of things.” The crescent compact shot a beam at Sailor V. The image of Sailor V disappeared. “I knew it wasn’t the real Sailor V,” said Kousagi, relieved. A blue smoke appeared above the Sailor V manga book. The blue smoke
had two small eyes in it and a dirty old robe appeared below it. Two boney arms with hands appeared. “Who in the hell are you?” asked Chibi-Usa.

“I am blau, a lesser phantom; and I won’t let you stop my brainwashing people with books.” Blau grabbed Kousagi and started choking her with
his boney hands. Chibi-Usa got up and tried to help her sister. The blue, smoky head of blau turned into blew flames and headed towards Chibi-Usa. Chibi-Usa used her attack to counter the flames. A spiral of stars blasted through the flames and hit blau. Blau was destroyed. The subliminal brainwashing messages from the books were gone. But the people who
were brainwashed by them earlier were still brainwashed. Kousagi and
Chibi-Usa left the bookstore and went to bed for the night.
