I didn’t really know what to say, I really wasn’t in the mood to study. But hey, When am I ever?
“So Serena, When do you want to meet up to study?”
“Uhm tomorrow is good for me”
“Me too, where do you want to study?”
“My house I guess”
“Aright tomorrow around 4ish?”
“Uh huh bye”
After that I left. I was still kind of in shock that Darien was my new tutor. He is so going to think im retarded when I don’t understand a word he says. After I got home and had dinner I was kind of bored. So I decided to write in my journal, which I haven’t done in a very long time.
Dear diary,
Ray
and me had another fight tonight.
She told mom that I pushed her
going upstairs which was not true.
Isn’t she supposed to be

But ill get to see her face when it happens.

im tiered of ray always rubbing in her little 90’s

me my 60’s if im lucky.

After that I went to bed. The next day at school. I also dressed really pretty and wore make up. the day went by quick and the same as usual. Some guy names Seiya asked me out on a date on Saturday and I said yes. After school I hurried home to get stuff ready for when Darien came. At 10 to 4 I went to go answer the door, Ray pushed me and got to it first. Grr, I hate her. When she answered there was Darien.
“Oh Darien this is a great surprise.” She said enthusiastically
“Ray im actual was here to see Serena”
“Oh Why! She’s not your girlfriend, I am” She screamed at him
Wow. I thought. Poor guy I don’t know why guys put up with her. Seriously,she is such a jealous type. And with Darien and me as if.
“Ray. Clam down. Its because I have to tutor her for extra credit. But you know id rather be with you than have to tutor your sister” Then he kissed her.
AH!
I can’t believe that jerk. I understand yea tutoring is extra
credit and that’s why he is doing it. But does he not notice im
waiting in the living room. And I kind of have Ears!
uh. I am
furious and I had no clue why. Its just makes me feel like im making
him do something he doesn’t want to do.
“Ray, before I go ill comes see you alright”
“Okay”
He walked towards the living room .
“Hey Serena, You ready to do this thing?”
“No, Im not okay, just go ill fail its alright.”
“What’s wrong?” he asked looking so confused.
”Nothing just go. I know you don’t want to be here and I don’t want you here either”
“Serena where is this coming from?”
“Okay.
I
heard everything you said to my sister and it makes me feel like im
wasting your time so go hang out with my sister before she throws a
tantrum”
As I was getting ready to go to my room he grabbed my wrist.
“Serena, im sorry I made you feel that way but I really do want to hang out with your sister but I want to help you too”
“Wat ever, let just hurry this up”
We took out my math book. And he started to explain what a circumference was, a radius, radii, diameter and chords. He gave me an example where you have the diameter and I had to find the radius and circumference didn’t get a word he was saying. Why cant a circle be just a circle! They have to make everything Hard.
“Darien, I don’t get this at all.”
“Okay, Let me put it this way you want to know how big a round pool is and you have a diameter which is 10 to find a radius you divide by what?”
“2?”
”Yes, good. Now 10 divided by 2 is 5 so your radius is 5 now for the circumference you do what?”
“You times it by 3.14?”
”See your getting this. And when u get that’s answered you have everything done, I knew you would get it Serena.”
“ Yeah ten years and a head ache later”
He just giggled.
”Darien you want to go get ice cream around the corner to relax?”
“Sure my treat”
“Really! You’re the best”
This guy was so great he was buying me ice cream. He was definitely in my good books now. When we finally got the ice cream store I orders a double chocolate on a sugar cone with sprinkles and he had a vanilla. Talk about plain. When I was walking down the street with Darien I fell and spilt ice cream all over me.Yeah I know. Great move huh.
“Ill go get napkins wait right here”
I waited for Darien to come and then I heard a guy .
“Hey sexy”
“Uhm I got to go.”
“No you don’t come we will have a good time”
“No. thanks”
The
guy slapped me and I feel to the ground. I was so scared. What would
this guy do to me. He went and ripped all the buttons of my shirt and
then I blanked out.
When I finally came to I saw Darien punching
the guy and then the guy ran off.
“Darien what happened” I cried
“That creep was going to…but I stopped him”
“Darien thank you thank you”
I went up to hug him and he hugged me. I began crying and crying. I don’t know why the guy didn’t do anything but he tried and the thought of that made me sick to my stomache. When I finally stopped crying I spoke.
“Darien will you take me home?” I said shaking
He just nodded.
