After much of a hiatus and a near mid-season replacement, I, Lucas your Geek, am back from cancellation. There's a whole buttload of t.v. going around right now.
The Olympics have recently just ended on NBC. Showing them is always great because they generate such high ratings and make other networks show movies like "American Pie" and "Lost in Space", but let's face it, they're a joke. No one really- truthfully- enjoys watching the Olympics on a whole. People will enjoy the highlights, yes, but not watching the whole boring show.
Luckily, the Olympics have not crushed too many of my favorite t.v. shows. We still get to see Undeclared, That 70's Show, now Scrubs is even coming back... and we get to see what I am choosing for one of the best series ever- Boston Public. This series is just brilliant and challenging. If you have yet to see it, do tune in and you'll be hooked.

Another new show I am enjoying a great deal is called Insomniac. It stars Dave Attell and is hilarious. It starts with him doing about five minutes or less of stand up, then he goes out and parties in the city all night long. He has this I'm-going-to-harass-people-and-drink-my-pants-off sort of vibe. The best part is that he's funny, but not nearly as annoying as Tom Green.
Insomniac airs on Wednesday nights at 10:30pm (est), so it's right after South Park! After you kick out those classic Cartmen jokes, what else have you got to do? Give it a shot, I say you'll like it.

Speaking of South Park, people have been asking me what happened to my cartoon feature. I'll promise you this: Let Me Kill Your TV will be back again in April and I will tell you all about the wonderful world of cartoons. Until then, continue to flip during the commercials.
