Blowback "Track III" (self released)

I must be honest with you, images can be deceiving. When I first saw this CD, I thought it was simply going to be another cheap metalcore type band. I thought it’d be a wanna-be Nora or something along those lines.
Well, this CD starts off with some samples of various people speaking and then they hit you right in the kidney with some rather violent straight up punk rock.
These guys are actually rather political, and musically they sound like the Sex Pistols or moe of a ‘70’s punk band, as opposed to something more recent like the Dropkick Murphys or what have you.
This is the type of band that I could imagine having a huge pit at their shows, and some of their shows are probably also ended in riots and broken up by police and tear gas.
Along the lines of the Traitors, Black Flag, Anti-Flag and so on, this is punk for you. It doesn’t get much better than this. Punk rock is back. Watch your ass.
Did I mention that Blowback was political?
