first blog entry
i've nearly completed the ink on a new comic book called
the Abolitionists. it's most likely going to be a four part series, concluding early next year (think March or April at the latest) and will be a one time deal. after the four issue run i plan on doing, i will do it no more.
i started the first panel for a new online cartoon coming to NCA called
Mr. Claus. it's going to be a somewhat business-orientated Santa Claus story for the holidays. just imagine if Santa ran an actual toy company, i.e. Toys'R'Us or KB.
i also started a new series for the NCA site called
Bruce the Thong. more on that as it is posted (meaning when the actual still goes up on the site with text, which should be by the end of the week).
this amuses me: actor christopher lee is angry because his character, Saruman, is being left out of the third and final Lord of the Rings movie. he says that people are waiting for a big Saruman/Gandalf showdown and now they won't get it. actually, i've been waiting to see Frodo and Sam get the ring back, while Aragorn, Legolas and Gimili find Merry and Pippin and save the throne. but you know, maybe that's just me.
there are bigger fish to fry.
you can expect the Feable Weiner interview to be typed in
full (it was edited for space in the Nov. issue of NCA) and posted on the web site before this year ends.
if you read pwtorch.com, my "reax" to Survivor Series (posted on their web site Monday sometime) were indeed edited. the full e-mail I sent, read:
"Josh Nacho, Durham, CT, PWTorch.com Enthusiast. (6.0) Best Match: Goldberg doesn't job, Worst Match: Anything involving a McMahon. I want to keep this as short as possible because I could write for days about last night. The first mistake the WWE made was putting Jamie Noble and Tajiri (minus Nidia still, mind you) in the pre-show on Heat. Why you ask? So that the Coach and Eric Bischoff could have a segment (yes, not a match) with the owner of the Dallas Mavericks. I, like many WWE fans I feel, do not watch basketball, football or baseball, hence this means nothing to me. Somewhere, Rey Mysterio is shouting, "I was left off the card for this!?!?!?" The matches on a whole weren't bad. Austin's obviously coming back as a wrestler for one last match at WMXX because whenever Jim Ross hypes up a farewell so much it usually means we'll see them again soon. My biggest complaint of the night is not only Mark Henry, but what Jim Ross said about Mark Henry being the World's Strongest Man. Ok, #1: The Olympics was a long time ago, things change. And #2: Didn't Mark Henry place THIRD in the Olympics? He didn't even win. So wouldn't that just make him the World's Third Strongest Man, like, ten years ago?? Someone should check these facts!! With Austin gone, Lita's in trouble of being fired, so I hope to see Bischoff get some Mattitude tonight on Raw! Other than that, we have the stupid, stupid Hardcore Holly and Chris Benoit will go feud with Brock now, but uh, odds say Benoit won't win."
now go read what they posted as my saying, and see just how much they edited on me. those idiots.
