Bats & Mice are the epitomy of emo. Ok, maybe they're not, but I figured somebody had to say it at least once.
A slower, more mellow paced music (even moreso than Pop Unknown, if that's possible), Bats & Mice won me over with their overly passionate vocals.
Some of these songs have better titles than they should like "Undress Princess", "A Polished Facade" and "In Spite Of". But this is still a CD I like to put on in between all of the mayhem and loud noise. Every once in a while, you do need those quieter, in between bands so your head doesn't explode. Bats & Mice fill that gap well for me.
