Something inbetween a great metal band and dare I say older Misfits songs, As Friends Rust has released the sounds of rebellion entitled "Won".
If you have never heard As Friends Rust but are a fan of rock then this CD is for you. If you are a fan of As Friends Rust, you will undoubtedly love this CD. If you have uncertainies about the band As Friends Rust this CD will put your mind at ease and cease all prior critcisms the band may have felt. That's right. This is the CD that will put the critics to rest and say "Hey, fuck you, we rock, get used to it".
Songs like "Won't Be the First Time", "Perfect Stranglers", "Laughing Out Loud" and "This is Me Hating You" stand out from the pack as instant classics.
The first track is called "We On Some Next Level Shit", and they couldn't have been more correct in saying that. As Friends Rust has risen to every challenge and obstacle placed before them, and they have met every single need and preconceived notion that anyone has ever put before the band. The came to the dance ready to dance. And dance you will. Try to understand that.
I'd like to sit here and type more about this wonderful CD, but I am going to go listen to it now.
