Are you currently an America Online (AOL) member? Have you ever been an AOL member? Are you as sick and tired as we are of having to pay for a service that isn't really much of a service at all but more of a hassle? If this sounds like you, read through these points below and please do join us in our fight to take back what has been stolen from us.
AOL's popular slogan
Have you experienced problems signing on or staying online? Does the system just become so over ridden with users that you find yourself unable to stay online or to get on to begin with?
We can not offer all of the answers, but we are here to try and help change this problem.
Did you know that AOL currently has over 46 million subscribers?
46 million... Do you know how many subscribers that is? Do you think it is possible for all of those subscribers to be online at the same time? Most certainly not.
AOL has no concern for you as an individual, and that is just wrong and we must demand customer satisfaction.
We can not continue to pay for a service that is so hypocritical that it makes me want to turn to violence.
Everyone has seen the commercial with the actors saying how great AOL is and just praising it up. Our goal is to make sure that these people who are unaware of the problems which AOL causes know about them.
We are here to teach and to let people know what AOL doesn't want them to know.
We wish to see these commercials ridden from the airwaves and AOL's slogan
I remember a commercial for a cable provider where the man bashes satellite providers. He says that your transmission can be interupted because of rain, snow, wind, or even for no reason at all- among other potential problems.
Doesn't this also seem to be the case with AOL? Don't you feel as if you've been wronged some times for no reason at all?
We plan to set up online petitions to be forwarded to Steve Case as well as many other AOL higher ups, and we also plan to continue to report this monster to the Better Business Bureau until this problem is resolved.
If you would like to help take part in this or even just share some of your horror stories, please do email ncaeditor@yahoo.com and share.
The customer service at AOL has also been nothing but awful. It takes you a good hour or so to actually get a person only for them to offer quick solutions- which do not help- just to get you off the phone and make you feel better so they can deal with their next complaint.
We must rise up against this. One person alone can not do it, but together, as a large group of AOL members and people who have felt these problems, we can make a difference.
Help stand with us and allow the average person to take control of the corporate giant that is royally screwing them up the backside.
