First show. The first show of any band can be a fickle thing. You can never really see a band's full potential in their first performance, so who's to say if The Moot Soopers were fantastic, or craptastic. Personally, I thought they were pretty decent. Their set had a good mix of head-bopping rock songs, along with emo and little hardcore style surprises that you didn't really see coming. "The Eighties" was definitely their best song, closing the show, leaving people thinking to themselves "awright". Ohya, and "New Age of Reason" was a great song too. And the fact that their bassist can double as a drummer, and sound fucking awesome while doing it is most impressive. PLUS mics got knocked over, stuff got unplugged...there was blood. Quite an impressive visual element for those who might not have even liked the actual show itself. All in all, I think people will definitely start to see a good thing coming with the Moot Soopers, because something is coming, and it's pretty good. - jaki
