TUNING THE FLUTE

Before tuning with a fellow musician, small ensemble, or even
an orchestra, the flautist must tune to their own flute. Use the
following procedure to not only tune to flute, but also figure out
how to produce the most resonant sound you can.

When in doubt, pull it out! (the headjoint that is)

Finger this note But play this note

Then finger the note with the
correct fingering
