Remote Control

This is a basic infrared remote control transmitter and receiver pair. You can add more receiver modules using the same IR phototransistor and you can use up to 5 different channels of IR frequency. Note that the 567 chip's output is active low. In order to understand the function of these chips, please visit NTE Electronics, Inc. and search for them.

The following power controllers work from a channel output from the IR receiver module connected to their input.

This power controllers activate the load as long as their input is active. One is active high and the other active low.

This power controller will activate the load when the active pulse enters its input and will deactivate the load until the power is shut down. For an active high input, add an inverter as shown.

This power controller module will activate a DC motor whenever its inputs are NOT equal (CH1<>CH2). The active input will determine the direction of the motor. This is a single speed module.
