"Redundance"
It's like a song that plays in my head,
a wooden pendulum
swinging in and out of my mind.
My skin is flushing,
pink and insepid.
Beads of sweat, like diamonds,
tumble down a mountain of blood.
When I close my eyes,
everything is dark,
and my heart grows fearful, as if a heart may break. But nothing happens...
Over and over the tide comes in...and goes out.
Never leaving completely, yet never really there.
It's a wretched sore, seething blood and merciless liquid
to seep inside the sponge-
like a body with filaments to gather.
Heavy breathing like a mammal only
comes in love and curiousity.
Both can be killed, but only breath may kill itself.
Nothing can end it, but the mass of tangled vapors...
and itself.
