Rambling Of The Week

In which our hero, Cameron, rambles on about whatever suits his fancy. Rarely is it an Armani. Usually, it is one of those cheap suits that wear out in a few days and. . .anyways. Sometimes, these ramblings are deeply serious (but, don't go clicking that back button yet), more often then not, however, they will be almost meaningless. If every thing goes right, there should be something new here every week.

December 24, 2001 Well, again, it tooke me a long time to write something new; I'm sorry. I may have to change this to "Rambling of the Month," if I'm not more diligent. I'll try to be. But, I always say that.

I'm a little bit more somber, as of just a few minutes ago. I mean, it's almost Christmas and all, and I've been in a pretty good mood ever since school got out 6 days ago. I was able to see "Lord of the Rings" on premiere, which was awesome, although I must apologize to Jake and Christine for not being able to see it with them. I was able to go skiing on Saturday; and although I've even had a pretty nasty cold, I've kept in good spirits. But just a few minutes ago I logged on to the internet with the intent on writing a holiday Rambling; and, just for kicks, I checked my message board. And lo and behold, what did I see: some really nasty comments, that's what.

I won't repeat them here, and I've taken the liberty of deleting the things; but someone (and I know that the 4 or 5 postings were made by one person) decided to flame me and one of my friends pretty heavily. I can take critiscm pretty well, in fact, I welcome it; but blatent profanity and inane remarks are just plain insulting to me and to all those that come to my site. Look, whoever you are, if you have a problem with me, then contact me directly; either by e-mail, or, if you know me in person, come and talk to me; but I will not stand for you insulting one of my friends so grossly and injustly.

Ok, that's enough of that. I realize that I could spend an inordinate amount of time flaming that person; but, for one, I don't even know him/her, and two, I believe that I'm above that. Plus, after all, it's Christmas. And I, for one, want to spread the holiday spirit. So, I apologize to all those people who had to see those messages, and thanks for putting up with my rant. Everyone have a happy Christmas! And I'll see you next year!

You may notice that the "Picture of the Week" feature is missing. And you would be correct. I have found that I am too lazy to put so much effort into constantly uploading pictures. And, for this I apologize. Oh well, maybe, one day, when I have time, I continue this feature. . .but this is not the day.
