My face is blank
An eyebrow raised
My eyes giving it away
I think, but do not speak
Better to do that then
to do the inverse
Some people call me uncaring
They are wrong
Some people call me unfeeling
I hope they’re wrong
To lose my emotions
To die
Synonymous
I care, more than you would ever know
Those color-changing eyes
I don’t want clouded over
Please, don’t cloud them over
You have no idea how much I care
So I smile, and nod, and laugh
But I’m disgusted at the music
I don’t want to be here
I want to be where I don’t have to hear it
Obliviousness was not in my plan
But I have to be
To not be infected by the virus
I hate to be indifferent to some things
Because, you might mistake it for me not caring about
you
But I do
I most definitely do
