The Anthem of the 49th Regiment Stationed Near Blue Lake

Jumping off cliffs
It's so much fun
Hitting the ground
Bones crunching
Spinal cord popping
Skull cracking open, spilling fleshy fluid

The day dawn is breaking
Or so the song goes
Let's go get stoned
It's so much fun

Falling and falling
Heart drops down to groin
Air rushes up at a strangling speed
Air, air, everywhere and not a drop to breath

Blue water below
Blue sky above
Which way to fall?
Falling down to the depths
Falling up to the moon

Jumping off cliffs at the dawn of the day
Old friends nearby
A singular tear swatted down by the dust
Pale skin translucent in a dark liquid soup
Of weed, and muck, and old beer cans

Totally clear sky, only a small cloud in sight
It's so depressing, so depressing
But don't worry, it might rain later
