Summer's sparkling dawn
sings softly honest praise,
with eyes aglow
and dewey teardrops puddling in the soil
and you and I are there,
among the mossy grass,
beyond the humming,
and beyond the plodding
Gazing into one another's eternities
pools of irradescent liquid unblinking
And beyond the words,
and beyond the hurt,
exchanging worlds
without movement
Letting gentle breezes
whisper the secrets
of what we need to know.
