I am relatively new to any type of design. I first started with photoshop 5.0 about 3 months ago. I found that as a picture manipulator, it was good, but as a creator it lacked something. Don't get me wrong, I only worked with it for 3 months! I decided I wanted to do something a little more creative and interesting...tada! 3d graphix design fell to my lap! The first app I used for 3d stuff was 3d Studio Max...nice but hard. Then I go a hold of Cinema 4d. This is exactly what I've been looking for. | This is the first image I've created in Cinema 4d on December 5th, 2000...mmm coffee

I created this in about 15-20 minutes. I guess it looks like a glass ship. All that it is, is a cube made edible, then the surface is edited with the matrix extrude, all default values. Next I added a texture/material that was transparent. I have lights arranged to bring out the smoothness. If you notice a grayish color it is a sphere with a default material placed in the center.
This is am roman wall (Oh really?). It took a little time, with all the rotating of the little blocks to form the arch, but it was fun. |
