This is not a fanboy site. This is merely made to help out people who are interested in buying an Xbox. This site is not intended in any way to denote the other awesome Gamecube and PS2 platforms.

The Xbox is the most powerful gaming console to date. It uses the Nvidia Chipset to provide ultimate graphics. It uses the DVD-R format to store massive amounts of game data on one disc. It's a fairly large console and also quite heavy compared to the PS2 and GC systems. The one exclusive itemit the Xbox has is a Hard Drive imbedded in the console itself. That's right, no memorycards. Up to 100 full games can be saved on the Xbox before having to buy a secondary memory card:-D This makes things like downloadable content possible.

The Xbox has some very solid online plans. The Xbox already has a broadband adapter included in the Xbox itself. It's online service, Xbox Live, is unforunately broadband only so dial-up people are left out of the mix. The pricing plan is 49.99 forone year of Xbox live, the headset communicator, and two demos: Moto GP and Whacked!, both of which are Xbox Live Enabled. This service is very reliable and on top of that, Microsoft plus the 3rd party developers are doing a good job of keeping up with downloadable updates and patches, all free of charge.

The Xbox currently has over 270 games in it's library and a lot of them are quite good. If you're into First Person Shooters, I reccomend Halo, rated "Mature"(The most popular game and number one seller on the Xbox that has won numerous awards), Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, rated "Teen", and Serious Sam, rated "Mature". If you're into racing games, I reccomend Project Gotham Racing, rated "Everyone" andRallisport Challenge, rated "Everyone". If you're into fighters, I recommend Dead Or Alive 3, rated "Teen". If you're into action games, I recommend Splinter Cell, rated "Teen".

These games are real crappy games and do not need an explanation as to why then need to be avoided. Trust me, they're BAD!!! Stay away from Kakuto Chojin, rated "Teen", Whacked!, rated "Teen", and Terminator: Dawn of Fate, rated "Teen". All of the aformentioned gameshave numerous glitches, bad graphics and other bugs that can sometimes make the game unplayable, too hard, too easy, and most insulting, not fun.

The Xbox currently has a DVD player feature that can only be accesedby getting the Xbox DVD play-back remote which is currently around $20 MSRP. There are plans to bring the Media Music Mixer which allows access, download, and play with MP3's(Legal of course) through your Xbox and is scheduled to be released later this year.

I hope this helps you in your decision to buy an Xbox. If you get the Xbox, you won't be disappointed and will realize it's money well spent. :-)
