Dungeon Bowl 1st round East Division ending Team Rating 377 Things started out poorly when the dwarves rolled a 1 for cards and the elves rolled a 6. luckily the card for the dwarves, Mine was equal to the one good card for the elves, Banana Skin. First half was a rumble with no one scoring. The elves took the whole second half to score leaving the Dwarves 2 turns to tie it up. The dwarves had out hit the elves but things still looked grim. Two turns left 7 dwarves vs. 4 elves. Luckily for the dwarves the kickoff was bad and the ball ended up in the hands of the recently conscious Human Blitzer on the team. With some protection from a big dwarf linebacker, he ran along the sidelines hoping for a chance to score on the final turn of the game. The block for the dwarves was bad on turn 7 which allowed the elves to keep a guard close at hand to make his way over to the ball carrier, thus allowing a 2 dice block by the DE Blitzer. The guard dodged and tried to push just a little too far, falling over and allowing the dwarves a last shot at the end zone. The Blitzer, aka Papps, made a run for it and stumbled for a moment at the goal line. using the skills that were drilled into him in practice he used a little bit of team luck to gain his balance and bumble in for the touchdown tying the game and sending it into overtime. Going into over time it was the dwarves with 4 RRs and the elves with 0. the coin was tossed and the nod went to the dwarves. 7 dwarves vs. 3 elves made things easier for the short fellahs and the elves finally decided to pack it in when the only player left on the field for them was the Blitzer Clone A10, a valiant warrior. Calli, a runner, took the ball and coasted down the field sealing the victory and a well earned rest.

Dungeon Bowl 2nd round East ending TR 381
Palmed Coin let me receive early in this debacle. Turn 1 I stuned 2 and mng’d one player, but couldn’t pick up the ball. Missing the ball turned out to be a good thing because he moved in to get it and ended up close to my players, and dwarves like it close and cuddly. Next turn I killed his tame rat ogre on a foul, and took a bribe to rr. Sit the rat ogre, another player of his choice and if I got kicked, his best dirty player. He tried to get the ball but failed, though after moving the ball bounced into his hands. Turn 3 I killed another rat ogre, which I rr’d for all his cards and the sit of the ogre. After getting all his cards I blitzed his gutter runner and KO’d him and readied myself for a foul. At this point phlea figured survival was the most importance and gave up the win. Considering I still had blatant foul and bribe the ref 2, it was a good idea. The rest of the game was a friendly dance around, with no hitting and no fouling for safety.

Dungeon Bowl Semi Final
Dwarves had solid cards with BTR #1 and Assassin. Short guys received first and got the ref, which gave them a free hand at pounding the enemy. Things went well with undead dropping quite rapidly. The dead countered the dwarves by leaving a mine on the field, luckily the dwarves had their assassin take out the undead’s strong ghoul. The dwarves kept marching on grinding out the enemy, finally scoring on turn 8 with only 1 dead still on the field. After regeneration and KO’s the undead could field max of 11. undead tried to set up to use injury time but the pass on turn 8 failed and the dead seemed like they might wait til next half in order not to risk the loss of card. Second half started off with the fans cheering on the dwarves and getting the motivated. The dwarves took that and decided to charge the enemy on their turn after the dead hit a couple people. The dwarves and dead slugged it out in the middle of the field for a bit with the dwarves superior armor, strength and guard started to take its toll. Honestly the undead had a little bad luck but the dwarves also helped that along with quality play. The undead never really managed to get more than 1 square into the dwarves half of the field with the ball. Anyone who made a break for it managed to fall over. The dwarves continued to pound while the undead tried to make an effort at hurting someone. Finally, on the undead’s turn 8, they ran away and the dwarves sauntered in for the 2-0 win. The dwarves gained some new fans and ended completely healthy due to apothecary saving a dead long beard.

Dungeon Bowl Finals My one card made this game. Illegal drugs pretty much took away his only chance of scoring and with the dwarves doing their hitting game, the humans were wilting fast. The humans had ET, Palmed Coin and Magical play book vs. my drugs and injury time. The humans had a slight advantage in first half then the drugs put him on the defensive. The human catcher ran backwards while the dwarves swarmed over the humans beating them without mercy. One human made a break for the endzone but an ogre and troll slayer caught up to him and smacked him around a bit with a large trout. The first half ended with many humans hurting and the dwarves quite healthy with only 2 line soak players hurt. The humans seemed afraid of taking the field hence the three KO’d players chose to stay in bed. The starting numbers were 11 dwarves fielded vs. 8 humans. The humans kicked off and with a no interest kick the dwarves started the onslaught. The humans tried a fireball but the dwarven runesmith stopped it. The dwarves started playing softer, just knocking people out but finally the humans cried uncle before the dwarves fouled 1 of the 4 remaining players. From there the dwarves held the ball and won the game in injury time. FF did not go up and the magic helmet was given to big ted.

| Win | Bloody Butchers | Chaos | 2-1 | 9-3 | 210 | 80k | Well, both had crappy cards but my 1 speed of light got me a first touchdown. As things went on, my pro and fouls did their job taking out players and removing both dirty players in first half as well as taking out the str5 pile on fang player. By the second half he had decent players but no fouler and attrition just took its toll as he had lowsy cards like I did. His side bet vs my robbed. I slowly pounded him and took players off but he kept things nerve wracking by keeping close and have the wizard which is dangerous vs the rune smith if it fails. On to face the demons from the north. Opposing coach Anti. |

475-879 Well, my opponent felt that I didn’t really win this game, probably due to great luck on cards and good rolls during the game, but when you have a huge team, you take the chance of facing many cards. My roll of 6 vs his roll of 1 turned out to be even better than hoped. He got magic helmet which meant he had no cards left, while I got razzle, illegal drugs, spy, spike, bribe #1 and petty spite. Spite did absolutely nothing unfortunately and spike stunned a guy. My rolls were good, but not godlike and his guys couldn’t do much to penetrate armor. Saved my spy for second half and got a turnover on sk sk. Was a tough game, with some good luck, but a win is a win and ill take it when I can get it.

Well, Filter’s team was hurting but they put up a hell of a fight. Even after using a ton of cards, filter managed to get the ball through and score, which means my early cards were pretty much useless but I managed to do some damage. He managed to make things tough towards the end of the first half when I was trying to score, but my runesmith was able to defeat his wizard and allow my catcher to run in for the touchdown even after facing butter fingers the turn before. Well, the second half started and I managed to do a slow grind and keep the numbers advantage while he tried to thin the population and sneak out the ball. At one point he did get the ball and make a run for it, but the filthy whore managed to move with the speed of light and put him down. Trina ran in and picked up the ball and the team rallied around her. He had one last shot at trina and couldn’t move her from her position. Trina dodged away next turn into the open and papps made a break for it taking the ball and bolting into the endzone for the win.
