Barret is a really strong guy who doesn't really like his past. He hates everyone that works for Shinra Inc. because they destroyed his village. If there is a way for him to get revenge he'd probably do whatever that was. He has a daughter named Marlene and he used to have a wife. You will find out what happened to his village in the first disk.
