UPDATE October 5th,
2004
Big update today. I've found and polished up the missing levels on my PS2 memory
card but I'm having a few problems with
my memory save converter utility. Bear with me, I'll soon have it fixed.
You may also have noticed that the links page has changed a bit - mainly cos of dead
links! Here's the full rundown...
Removed:
TimeSplitters 2 Network - now redirects to a porn site!!
TS2 Box - Dead link
TS2 Gamer - Dead Link
Q's Laboratory - Dead Link
Sites down but kept on the list (just in case!):
TimeSplitters 2 Map Site
Mapmaker Arena
Added/updated:
TimeSplitters: Future Perfect official site! - of course!!
TimeSplitters 2 Music Box - new url
Nintendo Scene - Supports TS2 sharing for the GameCube
We Review Everything - new url (major revamp!! Nice!)
Other changes include a few graphical facelifts here and there. You may have already noticed them. I've put added a new
header picture at the top of the page and the splash page. I've also learnt how to use
Photoshop a bit more preficiently and so have compressed a lot of the graphics to
smaller file sizes to save on bandwidth and to increase page download speed.
Ahh, ain't I nice to you lot?

UPDATE
September 3rd, 2004
Just a quick update this time from my work's PC. ign.com have playtested a demo of Future Perfect at the Games Stars Live show. Unfortunately the reviewer was a little frustrated by the game because of little things that veteran TimeSplitter players would be used to, such as pressing the shoulder button to bring up the crosshairs. Meh! Pedant! Anyhoo, the article's here if ya wanna check it out!
Other news is that I'm going to tidy this site up shortly and update the downloads page with some more maps. I'm sure there's a couple on my memory card that I haven't put online yet!! Keep your browsers refreshed, folks!

UPDATE
July 16th, 2004
ign.com have more information on the progress of TimeSplitters: Future Perfect. A few details to pick up on are that the main character will once again be Cortez jumping through a miriad of timezones. The controls will remain mostly the same. One of the minor changes are clicking a thumbstick button will act as a melee attack (such as using the butt of a gun to knock someone out). Also it looks like the Temporal Uplink has been replaced with a new Gravity Watch. Not only does this serve as a holographic map but you can also use it to "manipulate objects using the weight of gravity"!! Sounds cool.
The whole single-player experience has had a huge overhaul in comparison to the previous incarnations. For most people the main story was dissappointingly weak. This time round though it will be packed with new features. You can now man vehicles such as trucks, jeeps and tanks. We've already mentioned one of the new gadgets. And of course there are the new challenges modes and Map Maker to get your teeth into. I can't wait. Read more here.

UPDATE
May 6th, 2004
Wow!! Almost as soon as I finish one update it seems there's even more info about TimeSplitters: Future Perfect spreading across the net!! Yet again personal favourites ign.com have come up with the goods. According to their latest article Electronic Arts have announced a release date of early 2005 and that the game's modes will include Co-Op, 16-player online deathmatch (PS2 only), Challenge, Arcade, and an intriguing 'meet yourself' feature !?!? But most importantly the game will have an improved Map Maker that will allow gamers to play their creations and share them ONLINE!!!! (I think I've just creamed my shorts!!!!!)
More info here.

UPDATE
May 4th, 2004
HOT NEWS: The official name for the third game in the TimeSplitters series has been leaked. The game is to be known as.... TimeSplitters: Future Perfect. This time the game will be published by Electronic Arts and NOT Eidos. No news as yet whether Future Perfect (man, that's gonna take some getting used to) will still have the Map Maker. Fingers crossed. View the news article over at ign.com here ... WITH PICS!!!

UPDATE
February 7th, 2004
After not having any internet access at home for about 6 months now I decided to do a small update just to let you guys know that this site is still active and updates will be coming in soon. There's not much info on the new TimeSplitters game available but early rumours suggest that this time Free Radical WILL include online play. More news on that as it comes in.

UPDATE
September 14th, 2003
I'm proud to announce that the comms section has been updated with a brand new discussion forum. The old one got deleted cos Upperboard.com, the forum host, got shut down. Hopefully the same won't happen to the new host, Proboards.com. It's looking a bit empty at the moment but that's cos it's new so head on over there and sign up and get posting, even if you just wanna say hi or if you have a comment or question about the website. Remember it's FREE. Also I've got a new story mission in the pipeline at the moment, see the forum for more info.

UPDATE
Sept. 8th, 2003
First I just want to say to anyone who maybe put off by all the technical mumbo jumbo about converting Shark Port and X Port saves. Let me just get this out of the way. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO CONVERT ANYTHING. Whichever product you have, Shark Port or X Port, just send me your save file, I will convert it and include both version in the map pack zip file. Likewise, when you download a map pack YOU DO NOT HAVE TO CONVERT ANYTHING. You simply take the save file that corresponds to the product you have (.sps for Shark Port owners and .xps for X Port owners) and discard the other one. Please do not be discouraged from getting involved with trading your maps as I will handle all that converting stuff for you. That being said, on to the good stuff…
NEW MAP PACK
There is a new map pack from Ninja Jedi. Mission Pack 3. by Ninja Jedi (A.K.A. Count Zero.) contains 2 new story maps and a multiplayer map. I haven’t had a chance to play them but I am sure they are up to his usually high quality standards. Please check the maps section for the new map pack.

UPDATE
Sept. 4th, 2003
We have upgraded the site so there are no more ads. I’m sure everyone will be happy about that.
The new issue of PSi2 is out and contains a great little article about our site in it. Click here to check out the article. I just want to add that the article credits me, Tim Rockwell (Psycho Jiggalo) as the man behind the site, but this site is very much a joint effort. Steven Beck (NinjaJedi) is actually responsible for the site design and layout and his custom maps are in my opinion the most creative on the site.
To all new visitors, if you have a SharkPort or Xport, please send us your maps. We have a ton of hosting space and no advertisements now and we hope to host the largest collection of custom maps so that Timesplitters 2 fans will have an endless supply of maps to play.

UPDATE
July 23rd, 2003
We have some good news and bad news today. Bad news first - the forum section is currently down indefinitely. We're not sure whether we'll rectify it or create a new one. We'll keep you posted. But the good news is that we've been contacted by Datel - makers of Xport - and they wish to include some of our custom missions on the free cover disk of issue 35 of their publication PSi2. We're very exited about this but we've not yet been told which ones will appear. The magazine is on sale August 18th so look out for it.

UPDATE
January 26th, 2003
Added a new map pack to the maps page from our newest mapmaker, J Lowlife 78. “Whole Lotta Maps” contains 6 story maps and 8 multiplayer maps. There is enough here to keep you busy for quite awhile. One of the story maps, “The Matrix” is actually a clever recreation of the lobby shootout from the movie using the Virtual tile-set. Some creative work can be found here. I must warn you, some of the story maps are quite challenging but Lowlife adds a good bit of humor in his mission briefings and his maps are a lot of fun to play.
Hopefully we will see more maps from him in the future.

UPDATE
January 22nd, 2003
I have uploaded a brand spanking new map from Ninja Jedi. This story map is quite challenging. It is also an excellent example of what can be done with this map maker. Take note of his use of windows and lighting effects to make it seem as though there is a lot more around you than what there really is. He never fails to impress me. Check the maps secion for the new download.
I'm glad to see that a lot of people are looking at our site. But we really want you guys to get involved in sharing your maps. All the info you need is right here in the news section. Just read through and if you have any questions email us. Worse case, just send up your Xport or SharkPort file and we will convert it and zip both formats up and post your map here. Thanks again for stopping by.

January 16th, 2003
You may have noticed that the picture on the top has changed. This is to be a regular feature, we hope to have a new set of pictures every week. This weeks picture was done by PsychoJiggalo (Tim).

UPDATE
January 13th, 2003
I've added a new hit counter.... unfortunately it's started from 000000 but hopefully that will start to rise soon!! Also done a general tidy up of some of the areas - they're probably unnoticable but they were neccessary. Having problems with setting up a forum at the moment but rest assured there will be one soon. I also hope to install a guest book and get the links page completed during this week. Will keep you posted. Peace.

UPDATE
January 11th, 2003
Through a tremendous collaborative effort through Ninja Jedi and myself, the new
Timesplitters 2 Custom Maps Archive site has been launched. We hope you enjoy the new
design, we think it is a great improvement over the old one.
The same maps are still
available on the maps page. I my self am working on a new series and we would love to see
some more new maps from
the many people who have been visiting the site. (We know you're out there, we've watched the
counter!) Anyway, please send us your custom maps.
We will have a new and
improved message board up soon, so you can discuss the game and the map-maker.

UPDATE
December 7th, 2002
Got an email from Gothi (the writer of the PS2
saves convert program.) He gave me the proper ID codes
so now you don't have to go to the trouble of using the "Replace
from save" button. Simply type in the corresponding code
depending on which way you are converting.
ID
codes are as follows:
The Product ID for the PAL TS2 Map save is: BESLES-50877-TS2-MAP
The Product ID for the US TS2 Map save is: BASLUS-20314-TS2-MAP
This
should make converting a lot easier. If you have any questions
email me, or just send me your file and I will convert it.
Remember sending me your SharkPort or Xport file means that people
all over the world will get to play your maps after I convert
them and upload them.
In
other news, there is a new map pack from Ninja Jedi (A.K.A. Count
Zero.) Once again these are high quality story maps so check them
out.
I
just got SOCOM Navy Seals last night so forgive me if the updates
dont come quite as fast now. That game is addictive.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
UPDATE
December 5th, 2002
Added a new mission pack from Ninja Jedi (A.K.A. Count Zero.)
Both of the story maps are very good and extremely challenging.
I suggest playing them on the "Chilled" setting the
first time through. Anyone who wants to see what this mapmaker
is capable of should check out these fantastic maps. Check out
the review on the message board for the full scoop.
While
I'm talking about it, the message board can also be used to discuss
mapmaking techniques, share tips and talk about ideas you may
have got from playing someone else maps. I want it to be an open
forum for people to encourage each other and share knowledge.
As always, send me your maps!!!

UPDATE
December 4th, 2002
Well by putting our heads together Broonie and I managed to sort
out the SharkPort to XPort and vice versa problem. (Much thanks
to Broonie from the U.K.)
So
the zip files now contain working SharkPort and XPort files so
anybody can play the maps. Which ever device you have, send me
your saved maps file and I will convert it for you so that everyone
can play your maps. At this point I'm taking everything, story
or multiplayer maps. Just send me your files; I'm really hoping
this site will grow.
Anyone interested in converting their files themselves to save
me the trouble can get the nifty little piece of software here==>
PS2
Save ID Changer V1.4.2
To get it to work is a little tricky. Say you want to change an
XPort to a SharkPort file. Well, you need an existing SharkPort
file on your hard drive. (That's easy; you'll get one in either
of the map packs available for download on this site.)
1. Fire up the converter program.
2. Click "Load Save" find the file you want to convert
and click OPEN.
3. Make sure Change Extension is ticked.
4. Click "Replace from save.." and find the SharkPort
save and click OPEN.
These
instructions work the other way around (I.E. SharkPort to XPort)
and you should always be working with copies of the original files
in a special folder. After that its a pretty simple mater of importing
the save you want to play into your SharkPort/XPort software and
throwing it on a memory card.
Once
you've got into it, I think you'll enjoy playing other people's
maps and having them play yours.

UPDATE
December 3rd, 2002
So converting SharkPort to XPort and vice versa has turned out
to be a problem. In light of this I am redesigning the site to
make things a little easier for everyone.
For now I will offer either SharkPort or XPort saved maps files,
not both. And instead of having story maps and multi-player maps
on different pages I will just organize them by authors and you'll
get what ever maps they have in each pack. It might be all story
or all multi-player or some of both. I will give a list of the
maps in the pack if the author includes one when he sends me the
pack.
So
as of now I have one SharkPort file with 2 story maps and one
XPort file with 2 story maps and 3 multi-player maps. I apologize
to anyone who downloaded the old zip file as the XPort file probably
did not work for you.
Please after you have played the maps, go to the discussion board
and let me know if the download is working if the SharkPort and
XPort files are working and any other comments you might have.
You don't need to register to post just click the post link in
the upper right. Thanks
One
final note: To add saved maps files to your SharkPort or XPort
database, unzip them onto your desktop. Fire up the SharkPort
software. Then click "Import Saves." You can find the
new file and add it to your database. Its a little confusing because
there will only be one Timesplitters 2(Saved Maps) entry in the
"GAMES FOUND" list. But if you look at the "SAVES
AVAILABLE" list to the right you'll see an entry for each
one you have imported. They are only defined by the date of creation,
which is kind of annoying. In all honesty, it's probably best
to delete the file from your data base and just work with one
at a time, keeping your downloaded saved map files in a different
folder than your "C:\Program Files\InterAct\SharkPort 2\Savedgames"
folder. Oh well, if it seems too confusing for most people maybe
I'll just scrap this whole idea.
