Ranger
The Ranger is the basic grunt of the US forces. In addition to being
a light fighting unit, each Ranger has the ability to take over an enemy
structure after being upgraded. Their light armor and relatively weak weapons
make them ideal to put in groups to provide fire support against lightly
armored enemies.
Flash Bangs - Enables infantry to storm occupied buildings and
increases their anti-armour effectiveness.
Advanced Training - Unit gains veterancy at twice the normal
rate.
Capture Building - Enables infantry to capture neutral and enemy
structures. |
|
Missile Defender
Missile Defenders are equivalents of Rocket Soldiers from the previous
C&C games. They use fire laser-guided missile launchers and are great
against aircraft and tanks, although not so good against infantry.
Flash Bangs - Enables infantry to storm occupied buildings and
increases their anti-armour effectiveness.
Advanced Training - Unit gains veterancy at twice the normal
rate.
Capture Building - Enables infantry to capture neutral and enemy
structures. |

Pathfinder
The Path Finder is the sniper and scout for the rank and file. Once
the Path Finder stops moving, he blends in with his surroundings and becomes
effectively invisible to the enemy. It is also able to detect other "invisible"
units.
Advanced Training - Unit gains veterancy at twice the normal
rate. |
|
Pilot
Each aircraft in the US arsenal will also come with an individual pilot.
If shot down, the pilots will eject from their plane and hit the ground
safely. Once on the ground, they retain their veteran status, and they'll
transfer that status onto any vehicle they commandeer.

Colonel Burton [Hero]
Colonel Burton is the ass-kicking commando hero unit of the US forces.
His sniper rifle can take out infantry from long distances but don't let
his infantry status confuse you, he's deadly. He can climb cliffs to reach
hard to assault enemy positions. He sports a nice complement of remote/timed
C4 which he can plan on any structure. Once placed, the C4 can be detonated
via remote or it can be left there and a timer will eventually detonate
it.
Advanced Training - Unit gains veterancy at twice the normal
rate. |

Ambulance
The Ambulance doesn't carry any weapons. Instead, it heals your units
on the battlefield, which can be pretty useful in the heat of battle. It
also cleans up toxin waste and radiation.
Battle Drone - A small hovering robot follows the unit around,
attacking targets with a light machine gun and repairing its parent unit
when damaged.
Scout Drone - A small hovering spy drone follows the parent
unit, increasing its sight. |
|
Humvee
The preferred scout vehicle of the US forces, the Hum-vee can be armed
two ways. The first is with the more contemporary 50 caliber machine gun,
this variant is perfect for leveling columns of enemy infantry. The second
is the TOW missile upgrade. This upgrade will compliment the machine gun
with a turret mounted missile launcher on the top. The TOW missile is ideal
for hit and run tactics on enemy positions when a commander wants to get
in, destroy an objective, and get out with a minimal of casualties.
Battle Drone - A small hovering robot follows the unit around,
attacking targets with a light machine gun and repairing its parent unit
when damaged.

rate.
TOW Missiles - Gives the unit a TOW Missile to fire which increase
their anti-armour capabilities. |

Crusader Tank
The Crusader is an all-purpose tank that's capable of traversing any
type of terrain bar water. One of the Crusader's special attacks is the
ability to launch a drone that flies alongside the tank and fires a chaingun
at nearby enemies. Like the Aurora, the Crusader also carries a pilot,
and he'll eject from the tank once it has sustained a significant amount
of damage.

unit, increasing its sight.
Advanced Training - Units gains veterancy at twice the normal
rate.
Composite Armor - Upgrades the armour by 25%. |
|
Paladin Tank
Who says size doesn't matter? The Paladin is the heavily armored assault
tank of the US ground forces. What it lacks in speed it more than compensates
in firepower. Sporting a quickly reloading single barreled turret the Paladin
is the perfect weapon for punching through enemy armored vehicles and garrisoned
installations.
Battle Drone - A small hovering robot follows the unit around,
attacking targets with a light machine gun and repairing its parent unit
when damaged.
Scout Drone - A small hovering spy drone follows the parent
unit, increasing its sight.
Advanced Training - Units gains veterancy at twice the normal
rate.
Composite Armor - Upgrades the armour by 25%. |

Tomahawk Missile Launcher
Reach out and touch someone! This long-range missile platform is best
utilized for taking out enemy installations from afar. This vehicle sports
medium armor and it's missiles can deal a great deal of damage to anything
it falls on. Its long range comes at a price though of the Tomahawk launcher
not being able to fire at close distances. Keep infantry and tanks nearby
to provide close fire support.
Battle Drone - A small hovering robot follows the unit around,
attacking targets with a light machine gun and repairing its parent unit
when damaged.
Scout Drone - A small hovering spy drone follows the parent
unit, increasing its sight.

Rocket Pods - Enables the Comache to fire a large volley of missiles.
Advanced Training - Units gains veterancy at twice the normal
rate. |

Aurora Strike Fighter
This fighter/bomber is modeled after the rumored Aurora Spy Plane, and
it can reach amazing speeds. However, it only caries a single bomb, a massive
airburst explosive that can be dropped anywhere onscreen, and once the
bomb is dropped, the Aurora will slow down dramatically. The idea here
is that the jet uses up the majority of its fuel to reach its target at
supersonic speed, and after it has dropped its payload, it has to conserve
fuel to make it back to base. However, after it slows down, the aurora
becomes especially vulnerable to ground fire. Like other aircraft in Generals,
the Aurora carries a pilot.
Advanced Training - Units gains veterancy at twice the normal
rate. |
|
Stealth Fighter
Also known as the F-117, this black fighter with alien-like geometry
uses state-of-the-art stealth technology. It cannot go air-to-air, but
instead, it drops devastating bombs on ground targets.
Laser Missiles - Increases the damage of missiles launched by
25%.
Advanced Training - Units gains veterancy at twice the normal

|
Raptor

to medium armor and has the ability to engage in dogfights with enemy aircraft.
Commanders should be wary however as the Raptor cannot take much punishment
before being destroyed.
Laser Missiles - Increases the damage of missiles launched by
25%.
Advanced Training - Units gains veterancy at twice the normal
rate. |
