Entry - Joe Joe (Speedy Mix) Entrant - DarkPaladin --------------------- Song:- 19/20 EDIT - 9/10 I felt that this was a little long again, but it's more varied than most Jenny ROM songs so you get away with it. No major problems, clean and crisp all the way! SUITABILITY - 10/10 How on earth did you manage to find a Jenny ROM song that actually songs completely different to all the others? Lol. Anyway, you know the score - Jenny ROM + DDR = WINWINWINWINWIN!!! Steps:- 49/60 LIGHT - 18/20 I really enjoyed these steps - they reminded me a lot of the www.BlondeGirl Standard steps with the step-step-jump combos. The offbeat steps on "Joe Joe" were a nice touch, and the freezes were well-placed, but I'd probably say that overall the foot rating should be a 4. Still, these were very fun steps for novice players. STANDARD - 16/20 Nice flow to these steps, with the bounciness cranked up to the next level which is good. The main problem I found was with a number of the freeze arrows, especially at the start of the first verse. I felt like they started 1 or 2 beats too early and this ruined the flow a little. The chorus was good, as it matched the music but it wasn't what the player would expect and keeps them on their toes. HEAVY - 15/20 I wasn't as keen on the overuse of karaoke steps in this stepset - for virtually the whole of the first verse you use them, and although they fit they get a little boring. The gallops in the chorus don't really work to be honest, and are more fitting at the "shoobi-doobi" bit. The freeze section at the breakdown before the last chorus was really nice. Not a bad Heavy stepset. CHALLENGE (see Extras/Penalties section below) Graphics:- 12/15 At first I didn't really like the wave effect on the title text in the banner, but it's definitely growing on me and provides a fresh approach. These are quite simple graphics, but they are cleanly executed and are quite easy on the eye. Tilt:- 3/5 I admire you for finding a Jenny ROM song that sounds fresh and new! The steps are as fun as ever, like you would expect with a JR DWI, and with a little bit a work they could be perfect! The graphics are nice if a little simple. Extras/Penalties:- 6 CD-Title - 2 Lyrics - 2 CHALLENGE Steps - To be honest, these steps were too similar to the Heavy ones, and they also retained all the things I didn't like about them (karaoke steps and forced gallops) Some areas were improved, like the "shoobi-doobi" bits, but all in all this was too much of the same for me. - 2/4 TOTAL - 19 + 49 + 12 + 3 + 6 = 89
