Entry - Come Chameleon Entrant - Bluefire & Sir Maxx ----------------------------- Song:- 17.5/20 EDIT - 7.5/10 A classic DDR length. The two main issue I have with it are the abrupt start (why didn't you use the actual intro found in the full version?) and the cut towards the end where the beat skips forward a little. A good edit overall. SUITABILITY - 10/10 No-one can deny that Smile.dk and DDR go hand in hand. They're a match made in heaven, and this song for me is one of the best songs they've released since the glory days of Boys and Butterfly. Steps:- 53/60 BEGINNER (see Extras/Penalties section below) LIGHT - 16/20 A nice progression between Beginner and these steps. Some jumps, but they aren't over-used which is good. Some groups of steps seem a little odd, lasting for a beat more than expected, but the majority of steps follow rhythms in the music. A good introductory stepset for novice players. STANDARD - 19/20 I love the feel of these steps; they have an excellent flow! They are offbeat but don't feel stilted or awkward. I really can't find any faults in these steps - good job! HEAVY - 18/20 Only thing that springs to mind with these steps is the word "karaoke". But that definitely isn't a bad thing - they still have a great flow to them and excellent stream. These steps are a testiment to the suitability of the song in a DDR game. CHALLENGE (see Extras/Penalties section below) Graphics:- 12/15 Have a great cartoon quality about them and suit the song perfectly. The colours are bright and eyecatching, and I particularly like the artist text which seems to be bouncing around playfully! The CD-Title is good too. Tilt:- 3/5 I've always liked Smile.dk, so naturally this DWI has a certain amount of instant appeal to me. Upon playing, this was enforced by the solid, confident steps that didn't try to over-complicate the song. The graphics were very pleasing to the eye as well, with the only downside being the over-baked Challenge steps. Extras/Penalties:- 5 CD-Title - 2 BEGINNER Steps - These steps actually maintain some degree of interest by varying which beat the arrows fall on. - 1 CHALLENGE Steps - This was quite brave, as 8th jumps are definitely not everyone's cup of tea, and this stepset has LOADS of them! Refreshingly different, but I'm not entirely sure that they suit the song. 2 TOTAL - 17.5 + 53 + 12 + 3 + 5 = 90.5
