Saturday, September 11, 2004 :: RPG battle system screenshot
I've started working on the RPG again.. here's an EARLY screenshot of the battle system (the player and monsters need to be drawn still, as you can see)...

Saturday, September 04, 2004 :: Simple program released...
I just finished a tiny application (took me 2-3 hours to write) named "Spanish Study Game." I wrote this because I just started Spanish in school (Spanish I, technically), and I figured a simple game like this would help me study. It's available for download on the Applications page, if anyone cares to check it out, but it probably won't be of any use to anyone who isn't studying foreign language.

Monday, August 16, 2004 :: RPG news...
The RPG, still untitled as of yet, is still going strong. I've written the Quest status screen, the player status screen, and a bunch of other things. The battle system has been started, too. It's still too early to start actually _designing_ the world, but the designing stage will come shortly after I finish the programming that I've yet to do (the battle system, for one, has to be written).

Also note that the format is JPG, so the quality isn't 100% accurate.

Saturday, July 24, 2004 :: Site is back, with new Tutorials section
Anyone who tried coming to the site within the last day or so may have noticed the main page was blank.
This is because Angelfire was fucking up on me-- turns out it was the fault of a new firewall I had installed named Sygate. So anyone who wants a new firewall, do NOT get Sygate. Hopefully when I say that, I won't get a million e-mails from Sygate themselves saying "OMG U R TELLING OUR USERS NOT TO USE OUR PRODUCT!11 U SUCK!1" So to Sygate, I say, please make your firewall at least compatible with FTP and e-mail. I couldn't access my e-mail (Yahoo and email.com wouldn't work), and I had a horrible time trying to upload with Angelfire-- and ended up accidentally overwriting index.html, that's why all the past updates to this page are lost.

Anyway, enjoy the new Tutorials section. There aren't any tutorials yet, but I've put a few links to good tutorial sites in the meantime. Soon I hope to have tutorials up to teach users how to do a few tricks in C++: probably game-related.

Oh, any one more thing: I've been working on an RPG. It's going pretty good so far.. might upload a demo in the coming weeks/months. Who knows.
