This is the first Final Fantasy game for the PS2. This game has some features that the others didn't, like voice acting, the new Sphere Grid system, and the battle system, which was turn-based. A must have for your collecton

This is about a boy named Tidus, who was a blitzball player from Zanarkand. He was playing blitzball, when the evil Sin attacked and destroyed Zanarkand. Auron and Tidus was then transported through time, a 1,000 years into the future to be exact, and that is where this epic tale starts to unfold. Tidus then meets up with a group of blitzball players and then starts off to become Yuna's guardian, and to join the Besaid Aurochs. He then starts to understand what Yuna had to do, and tried to stop her. With the evil Seymour also running loose, they stopped him...or did they? Yuna and Tidus start to fall in love and then struggled with the entity called Sin. What happened is still a mystery, but unravel it, and find out.

Square Reality gives it a 4 out of 5 for gameplay and storyline. The reason for the 4 instead of 5 is because of the Sphere Grid.
