OUR CHARTER
You have chosen to belong to a honorable guild. Members are expected to act with principle, to treat other players with respect and courtesy, and display good social etiquette. The following guild rules list unacceptable behaviours. Any member who breaks any of the rules risks being removed from the guild, at the disgression of the officers and guild leader
1. Kill Stealing
Guild members should not kill steal for any reason (except in one situation described below, where kill stealing is tolerated, but not recommended). Kill stealing means engaging a mob in combat after someone else has already done so. This includes attacking a mob that is chasing someone, unless that person requests help. In the case where you are camping a static spawn, and someone comes along and attacks the mob without asking for your permission, please politely ask them to stop. If they ignore your request, do as you wish, at your own risk. Please note that kill stealing for any reason is a banable offense in Everquest.
2. Camp Stealing
If you wish to kill a certain spawn which someone else is already camping, you are not allowed to start attacking without the other person's permission. According to the official Everquest Play Nice Policy (PNP), a person/group can not claim ownership of a camp and restrict other players from it. However, it has long been socially accepted within Everquest that camps are owned by whoever arrives there first. This is an "informal rule". Members will not be allowed to use PNP as an excuse to take over, or pull from, a camp without asking first. Please ask the person politely if you may share the camp or group with him. If the person refuses, it is recommended that you leave and come back another time. If you insist on sharing the camp, and cannot reach an agreement with the person camping it, you must contact a Guide/GM to invoke the PNP. When the Guide/GM has reached a decision, you must abide by it. Be aware that invoking the PNP, although legal within Everquest rules, is considered bad etiquette and may negatively affect your reputation.
3. Deliberate training of mobs onto other players
This involves aggro'ing a mob(s) onto yourself and pulling it to another person/group with the intent of causing harm to the other person/group. Please note that this is a banable offense in Everquest.
4. Any harrassment of other players
We strive to be a become a well-known and respectable guild. All members are expected to display respect and courtesy towards other players. Any harrassment of other players for any reason will not be tolerated. Harrassment of other players is a banable offense in Everquest.
5. Intolerance of others due to RL (real life) race or gender
Any display of out-of-character racism by a guild member will result in them being kicked faster than they can blink. Enough said. In-character racism is allowed for roleplaying purposes i.e., only when it involves races within the context of Everquest e.g., dark elves hate high elves. Any gender based insults whether in or out of character may cause harm to others, and are not allowed. Roleplaying is not an excuse for gender based intolerance.
6. Foul language on public channels or aimed at another player
Our guild members are expected communicate to other players in a polite and mature manner. While the occassional cursing and swearing is allowed (what else can you say when your puller brings back half the zone), profanity or foul language on public channels will not be tolerated, by both the guild and Everquest rules e.g., "/shout I hate this zone. Verant is a > piece of >". The same applies to direct insults to other players e.g., "/tell Tom You are a ".
7. Begging for money/items/buffs/food/drink with a whiney attitude
Nobody likes beggars. If you need something, please go out and earn it like everyone else. It is perfectly acceptable to request aid from the guild to camp specific items. We do not want our members to expect to get money/items for free just by sitting at town and begging other players. You may ask for buffs from other players in a polite manner. If they buff you, please thank them. If they refuse, thank them anyway and do not keep asking. The same applies to food/drink, but only in the case where you really need it, and cannot easily acquire it yourself. Examples of what NOT to say: "Can anyone spare some items or money please?", or "Sow plz"
8. Using d00d 5p34k to the point of being utterly annoying
Using d00d 5p34k is considered bad etiquette, and most people find it annoying. It is also deemed to be immature. Please refrain from using it, except when you are making fun it. Anyone who says sH4d0wb4N3 R0xx0rz will be gated to Tox and left there to r0t.
9. Ninja looting
By Everquest rules, this involves looting a corpse which was killed by another person/group without the permission of that person/group. We will also consider it to mean looting an item from a corpse which your group killed, and keeping that item without the consensus of your group. Please note that ninja looting is a banable offense in Everquest.
10. Any actions with the intent of causing harm/death of other players
There are many ways to achieve this within Everquest so they will not be listed here. Suffice to say, this behaviour is considered to be immature and rude, and will not be tolerated for any reason whether it be for fun, revenge, or roleplaying. A few examples include: Binding another player where they are KOS without them knowing; Dragging a player's corpse to a NPC that is KOS to them, then ressing the player; Deliberately refusing to heal a member of your group during a fight; Training mobs to other players then gating or feigning death; Initiating a duel next to a guard and letting the other person attack you; Duelling someone, leading them underwater and then mezzing them. There are almost infinite possibilities, all with the intent of causing harm/death to other players. Please do not do it.
11. Duping (tricking) other players in trades
Attempting to trick items from other players is a banable offense. This includes attempting to convince a player to give you an item/money prior to you logging in another character to complete the trade; or attempting to make a player drop an item on the floor, while you quickly pick it up (e.g., asking a player to show you several items in trade window, including an item which does not fit into a container, such as wurmslayer, and then cancelling the trade). This also includes deliberately stepping between two people who seem to be trading in the hope that they may pass the items/money to you by accident.
12. Arguing with guild members over loot or other issues
The guild promotes harmony and fairness amongst its members. Any member who displays greed, and causes ill-feelings or arguments is not welcome in the guild. In such cases, the matter will be discussed by officers and the guild leader, and a course of action decided upon. If anyone has general issues, please post to the message board so everyone can discuss it. If anyone has a problem with another member, please feel free to contact an officer or the guild leader.

13. Alternate characters in other guilds unless approved by the guild leader
As a courtesy to the guild, please ask for the guild leader's approval if you want one of your characters to join another guild. Please respect your guild leader's decision.
